Once again a different room, 6th time I've been here and the room was big, comfortable with a very good bathroom. A bit more 'basic' than previous rooms but they cant all have a jacuzzi whirlpool in the middle of the room can they?
Excellent restaurant, wine shop, didn't do the winery tour this time but wish I gad time for it, next time.

Very welcoming reception. Happy to store my bicycle. Nice room, quite modern, and a great buffet breakfast. Bit pricey but very tasty.
Working old building. Similar to a Parador but better price.
Working old building. Similar to a Parador but better price. Very quiet and full of character. Accessibility room and shower great. Large room with heating and Aircon. Very clean. Small cafe on site serving wine and food. We had lunch menu of day that was very good at about 17 euro with wine. Beds very comfortable and good size towels. Secure overnight parking.

Approaching from the main road, it looks like just a small cluster of houses, with the Monastery ahead. There is a little community that support the field work in surrounding vineyards.
A winery and attached restaurant is well supported, especially at weekends, so book in advance.
The Monastery itself is beautiful and full of amazing architecture, A guided tour is held twice a day, sadly only in Spanish but English speakers are given a printed leaflet.
River running through the village is pretty. Large dark skies and peace abound.

We had a great stay at the Hospederia.
We had a great stay at the Hospederia. We had a twin room that was huge, with a big bathroom.
The beds were very comfortable and clean.
We booked half board - very good value. The dinner was three corse with wine, and the breakfast plentiful.
After leaving, we drove down the beautiful Duero valley to Valladollid, and onwards to Lisbon.
Finally I note that I stupidly left my Jacket in the wardrobe. The staff have been very helpful to get this back to me here in Lisbon.

The restaurant is exceptional, stays open late and the Bodegas own wines are innovative and very good.....
The Bar is used by everyone locally, and the tapas and prices reflect that, Breakfast is top class ,comprehensive choice and plentiful.
Outside is surrounded by vines, no foliage now but spectacular later in the year which is how we saw it on our last visit, sept 2021
It is a nice break in the journey to Malaga from Santander
Highly recommended

This is a nice boutique hotel rather than a 4 star one, looks amazing, my room was full of wine bottles, very good idea.
Both receptionist girls were super friendly, they deserve a 5 star for sure
There is a spa in the basement what I have no time to use, and they provide breakfast too - not too much items, but what they have are fine quality
From my room you can see a roman bridge
It is in a small village, so it is very quiet, but still close to the motorway
The most beautiful building in which one could wish to stay. The monastary has been remodelled as a hotel to an exceptional standard, in every area, exterior, reception, corridors and rooms. The rooms are fantastic with lovely, high spec bathroom facilities. The staff were all lovely. I have no reservation in recommending the Hotel. Simply marvellous
Lovely hotel......one to stay at fro a treat. The spa comes at extra cost....about £22 per person, which ramps up the spending, but, although small, is very good qualuty and we'd reccomend. The rooms are quirky and spacious and very comfortable . The bar area is great and food there extremely good and reasonably priced
Very nice hotel in historic monastery. Large room with enormous king-size bed. Delightful places to visit nearby, including Peñaranda and Aranda de Duero and, a bit farther away, Aranda de Duero and Ayllón. Good restaurant options in Aranda, including Michelin-listed Aitana.
For such an inexpensive hotel, the quality and value is astonishing. HUGE rooms, with superb bathrooms, granite floors, lovely beds and furnishings and all very stylish - a lot of money has been spent. It has a super ambience of the former monastery.
Stunning hotel , attention to detail in the rooms and hotel itself is amazing.....all around a winery theme. The spa is amongs the best we have been in. The restaurant food and wine were fantastic.
Second time I have stayed here travel to Andalucia, good sized room, large comfortable bed, pets accepted, very quiet and peaceful place. Adjacent hotel bar serves take away food
Very nicely decorated hotel and room, great having a tapas bar and restaurant in the premises, both good.
Very nice sitting spots near the vineyard.
Right next to a monastery.
