A unique experience staying in the ruins of a castle fort. The rooms are basic and clean. The ruins of the castle are incredible as are the views. Spend the day exploring the ruins, watch the sun go down in the evening and in the morning watch the sun rise from this scenic spot.
Breakfast is good and dinner service is provided at an additional cost. In the evenings local people come to the castle for drinks and socializing.
Historical guided tours of the grounds only happen for two months in the summer. Check ahead of time if they are available if this is something you would want to do.

Wonderful, historic building. Breakfast was something to behold for a cyclist that needs calories: bacon and eggs…..top notch.

Very interesting historical building remodeled to hotel, with spacious common areas. Very welcoming staff. Good continental breakfast in pretty morning room of hotel. Hotel faces a small plaza where it is possible to park a car without problems. We are there "low season", but still, it was very quiet location for sleeping. Warm steam heat in rooms and halls, makes it cozy.
Offering views of the countryside surrounding Aras de los Olmos, Casa Rural Aras Apartamentos Turísticos features well-equipped apartments. It has an ideal setting for hiking and horse riding.
Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hotel is small but beautiful. The building is a superb example of traditional Spanish craftsmanship. The food is locally sourced, fresh and regional recipes with a good wine selection. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished with carefully chosen furniture that compliments the building and rooms. Attention to detail is commendable. This was a pleasant surprise and very affordable. Loved the relaxing and peaceful location with history on the doorstep.
Incredible hospitality service, beautiful property with unexpected features (game room, movie parlour), great dinner menu! Definitely recommend visiting the ruins of Moya - be sure to ask the hotel staff about their family connection to the medieval city!
The hotel is beautiful. spotlessly clean and the staff could not have been better. I cannot rate the hotel highly enough. Nothing was a problem for Luis and the other staff. The dinner menu was exceptional. Easy to use high speed internet.
