This is a truly special property. Wonderful mix of old world charm and present-day amenities. I was helped with a taxi to/from the Camino and was welcomed by staff by name at the door. The room was beautifully decorated and the terrace was a lovely place to unwind with a glass of wine and olives. I saw previous reviews that were not great regarding the restaurant but I have to say I was blown away. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, and the service was exceptional. Everyone made me feel like I was the only person staying there. I found it while researching a non-alburgue type of lodging, but I’d say that if you are planning a trip in the general vicinity you should give this hotel a try. I had the most basic room type but got a peek at a bigger room while they were cleaning, and wow! Very special. I’m just sad I didn’t get a chance to use the spa/fitness center due to my schedule.

Amazing Spanish hospitality. Kudos to Chef Santiago for an delicious dinner - some of the dishes were his own personal creations. Wonderful in every way! Super Mikey was a creative and skilled host; he organized a wonderful evening with dinner and wine.... a precious memory we will never forget.
