Gorgeous setting overlooking the sea. Bego was a warm and generous host, taking us by car to buy groceries and making every accommodation to be sure we were comfortable. It was a quiet, beautiful, restful stay. Thank you Bego!

This is the best kept secret on the Camino Portuguese coastal route! This place is an actual spa, just a few kilometers off of the Camino!!! It was an amazing place. It has an amazing indoor pool that is filled with sea water from the coast. The pool is heated and has about 10 different stations with amazing jets of water that focus on a different part of the body. This felt soooopo good on my Camino sore muscles. The food in the restaurant was also spectacular. It's a good idea to reserve time in the pool and the restaurant before you arrive. Both highly recommended. I left this place completely rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of my Camino.

We mad a mistake and booked on the wrong day was we were walking the Camino and didn't realize. The owner didn't charge us for the mistake or missed booking, he helped us with another room and was so kind about our blunder!

The proprietor was very accommodating. Although there was no hot water to start, he was working diligently to get it fixed, and he did. He prepared us a picnic lunch as we were leaving before breakfast would be served.

That place is nothing like a Marriott or Hilton or the sort. It is family run and the staff is just very nice. Do not expect the maximum comfort but even so rooms are very good, breakfast excellent and the location is superb. It is also nice and quiet! I book for next year, no doubt about that !
