What a treat to stay in the apartment "Os Tres Caños" off of the main square in Ayerbe. Our host and hostess were open and friendly. Concerned for our well-being when we headed off to hike around the Malleos de Alguero in 33 degrees heat, our hostess reminded us emphatically to carry plenty of water. If our parking space on the street were taken when we returned, she offered to move her car so we could have her spot.
Located at the back of the property away from the street, the silence was perfect for a restful night's sleep. The bed is large and wonderfully comfortable. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave and small refrigerator. The towels in the bathroom are fluffy and there are TWO showers in the spacious shower stall. The walls are painted tastefully brown and blue, matching the chairs at the dining room table.
Our hosts prepared a dinner of lamb chops and sausage on a wood-fire grill. Cheese cake for dessert was homemade and delicate. Breakfast was rich and nourishing with two types of Spanish omelete: chorizo and potato, and onions and potato. The coffee is strong and good. Freshly-pressed orange juice was delicious!

The host is super-friendly and offered to pick me up at the Ayerbe, the train station which is most convenient to Agüero and Villa Garibaldi. Agüero is a stunning Aragonese town backed by pinkish mallos... and Villa Garibaldi is constructed right beneath the mallos, so has an exquisite view back onto the town of Agüero. His place is very convenient to the trail which encircles the mallos, a several kilometer walk including some elevation changes, but always with stunning views. The town is very convenient and I loved meandering the alleyways, visiting the town cemetery, marvelling at the orchards which included olives, almonds, and others. Agüero is a bit like Spain of yesteryear...rural, well-kept, safe... and I loved it.
My room was cozy and I made use of the kitchen and dining area. So, you can bring your own food. Agüero may or may not have a restaurant or store..so plan appropriately!....
Casa Mallos de Agüero is located in Agüero, at the foot of the impressive Mallos rock formations, 28 mi from Huesca. The heated villa offers mountain views.

The views are very good, the staff are attentive and friendly. No welcome tray in the room. No information about the hotel or surrounding area. If you like a hard mattress this is for you, the furniture looked a little tired in our room. The shower was very good, overall the room was clean and tidy.

Great place, just enjoy the location across from the Mallos de Riglos. Beautiful sunset, seeing the glowing of the mountains. Close to many sightseeing places like the Castilio de Loarre and Alquezar. Beautiful little village to stroll around.

This is a charming little hotel with cosy rooms all with an amazing view of the Mallos de Riglos rock formations. Set in a village and with an excellent restaurant attached (but run separately) by the chef and his wife. This couple were also looking after the hotel and are very pleasant and warm. The Restaurant is excellent and having, with the advice of the proprietress, ordered one starter and one main to share, extremely good value. We particularly enjoyed the salads and the T bone steak.
The village and local area is stunning. The view of the mountains from our room was beautiful. The hotel is an older property and dated so it is very shabby chic, if you like that look. The hotel offers the option of dinner served at 9pm, we ordered one salad to share, a main course which was for two people and one dessert to share and a bottle of the house wine which came to €69.50
What a spectacular boutique hotel. Every detail throughout is considered with heart and soul. Really a unique stay with a great host who was kind enough to make us lunch after our hike. Location is perfect for walking to Aguero and back. Breakfast was good. Comfy and spacious rooms with beautiful views. I would highly recommend staying here!
The location and views were really special. The hotel is very unique in the way it is decorated, our bedroom in particular was amazing. The food was great and the host was very friendly and with a sense of humour. Definitely recommend this lovely rural hotel.
The hotel is very nice with beautiful views (you need to take the option room with view) it is worth paying a bit more. The swimming poll is just amazing. Room very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast ok, dinner- we haven't the opportunity to try.
