Orio is a lovely little sea side town.
Orio is a lovely little sea side town. Not picturesque as such, the beach is the main draw and the town has shops, bars and restaurants enough to make a stay fun. The locals all seemed very friendly and welcoming. Orio was a small town 20 mins drive from Getaria, which was the town we actually wanted to visit. Orio was unremarkable. Nothing stood out for comment particularly. It was where we could find a hotel for the night in the area.

Very close to San Sebastian for a visit to this beautiful city. Easy access to the entire Spanish Basque coast, magnificent.
