Wonderful stay all around! The room (102) was enormous, and the private terrace had stunning views over the hills north of the city. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect, right in the old town and just a short stroll from the Plaza Mayor.

Nestled amongst the picture-perfect backdrop of Guadarrama Mountains, Segovia is an architectural and historical gem which blends several charming monuments and landmarks, with a mix of lively bars and restaurants. It is home to a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site old city, along with the ancient Acueducto de Segovia and Segovia City Walls.

I enjoy the scenery, Plaza Mayor and nice people. I arrived at midnight and a gentleman on the street helped me get a taxi and waited until the taxi arrived. I'm really grateful for what he did for me.

An absolutely beautiful town.
An absolutely beautiful town. Lots of walking, lots to see and so many restaurants to choose from. Friendly staff everywhere. We only had a single day (next year we will plan a longer stay) so we did a lot of walking and spent time visiting the castle.

Segovia is one of Spain’s most beautiful cities.
Segovia is one of Spain’s most beautiful cities. The Alcazar and the Cathedral are stunning, but nothing compares to the first time you see the Roman aqueduct. The only complaint I have is that everything closes after 2 pm and as a tourist you are forced to return to your hotel or wonder around while the town looks like a ghost town. Perhaps they could keep some of the tourist attractions open, so tourists are able to do something while the locals take their siesta.

We stayed two nights, but could have spent at least another day, or two. Take the time to walk around the river path down around the front of the Alcazar for views up, and when you get to the old bridge walk up and over the road and up the stairs to the lookout. Amazing photos. Climb the Cathedral bell tower for magnificent views of the city.

The stunning Roman Aqueduct, fairy-tale Alcázar, and Cathedral were stunning. Enjoy the traditional the signature dish of Segovia the Roast Suckling Pig (Cochinillo) which is so juicy and tender with crispy skin at one of the wonderful restaurants in old town. The royal mint and walks was a great bonus for our trip.

Food Tapas was really good in all the Bars.
Food Tapas was really good in all the Bars. However most of the Bars did not display Price list for Drinks and in some they were quiet expensive and varied a great deal. Worth a mention Restaurant El Sitio brilliant Tapas Bar/Restaurant and Bar Socorro very good.
The building is right on the main pedestrian street in the heart of the historic center, a short walk to Segovia’s main tourist attractions and close to plenty of restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. There’s a terrace on the roof with beautiful views of the cathedral. We were able to bring our dog and there was a park very close by where we could walk him. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had.
Excellent location in central Segovia. Walkable to all the main sites with lots of great restaurants just steps outside the door. Staff was great and happy to help in English. Good communication in advance about parking and access by car (the hotel is on a pedestrian street but there is public parking and drop of points within 5-10 min walk). The view from
my room was exactly what I hoped based on the pictures for my room type (suite). Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
location, direct view of acueducto from room was great. AC worked well (not always case in Spain). location to historic sites was excellent. if you need Burger King or McDonalds fix, they are next door. bed was very nice. Staff was accommodating and very nice. we had to leave last morning prior to breakfast hours and they packed us two really nice “picnic” meals. Parking garage on site for guests only.
The hotel was very easy to find, being on the main route in from Segovia. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. The hotel was located just a 15 minute walk from the bustling centre and the Aquaduct. On our 2nd evening we dined in the restaurant and the Menu del Dia was very good value for money. We also managed to park our 3 motorcycles outside the hotel, but space is limited.
A good friend and I spent a wonderful two nights at the Hotel Don Felipe and in Segovia. Fantastic hotel, friendly and professional staff, lovely room with terrace overlooking the Alcazar (recommend upgrading to one of these rooms if possible). The breakfast was excellent. Lovely common garden, great views. All with a quiet and comfortable sleep which was much needed to explore this amazing city.
Excellent staff, good breakfast - and by sheer good fortune we even managed to park for free right outside - the rooms were full of storage space, and cunningly designed to minimise sound (a major problem all over in Spain). For all that, the occasional street noise and some from reception in the small hours woke me.
The location is fantastic with no more than 10 minutes walk to any of the fantastic sites in Segovia.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful even with the language barrier (Segovia is rural Spain so very few people speak any English at all!) but we received great service everywhere we went.
The hotel is in a great location to see all the sites, and go to restaurants. The room was large and comfortable, staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. The day before we drove in, the hotel emailed perfect directions for parking in the garage. Very convenient!
The host was so warm, kind, and gracious! Truly felt like a home stay. It was incredibly well priced and in a wonderful location just outside of Segovia near fantastic hiking. Also walking distance from a gfeat restraunt. Will 100% stay again if we are back in the area!
Great stay in a beautiful hotel. Have stayed in Segovia a few times before & always in the same hotel but on this visit decided to try somewhere new! Good location & got parked outside hotel. Overall very happy!
We’ve stayed in this Hostal every trip to Segovia since the year 2000. Love the location, the people that run it, the town of Segovia! The hotel is clean, well-maintained, reasonably priced but nothing fancy.
Location was first class.
Central for old Segovia.
Ideal if like myself you walk with a stick, on the level. Hotel, and all staff reception and breakfast and cleaning all amazing, love you all, thank you ❣️
The room was spacious and clean, we had access to the outdoor terrace, which was really beautiful, incredible views! The location is nice, close to everything in Segovia. The staff was wonderful as well.
Amazing hotel right on the outskirts of Segovia just 2 minutes from the motorway. Took a 2 night break on the way to Santander so able to send a day in the amazing city.
Excellent location. Lovely decoration in the room. I enjoyed the spa very much. A kettle in the room to make tea was much appreciated as this is quite rare in Spain.
The location was good. The person running the front desk and one of the housekeeping staff were wonderful. Segovia is a wonderful city and we enjoyed our time there.
