There are 2 supermarkets in the area, a fab pastry shop.
There are 2 supermarkets in the area, a fab pastry shop. A thrift shop across the road, although attended by drunk men it was quite an experience . A member of staff on the ferry did say Solares was where you went to drink and I think, except for the luxury hotel he was right. Lots of drunk older men around..

Architecturally outstanding, amazing thermal spa of historical importance, sumptuous interiors. Lovely grounds and external terraces around pool setting. Good to see a garden kitchen. This was a fantastic stopover on the way to Santander ferry port. Excellent restaurants. Will definitely be back. My dogs loved it too, the hotel had thoughtfully provided a dog bed each in the room. Absolutely wonderful stay.

Comfortable room, lovely atmosphere, very clean, excellent care to avoid risk from COVID, good food, good service, good safe parking. Didn’t use Spa but it looked fantastic. I want to go back to try this. One of the nicest hotels we have been to. Very convenient to access and close to ferry

Very nice hotel, pleasant staff and good grounds to walk our dog. An excellent breakfast. Within 30 minutes of Santander ferry port so an excellent location away from the noise and bustle of the city, would definitely stay here again.
