Soto Real is a smart suburb just outside the centre of Madrid. Very friendly people and great places to eat. the locals are very attentive to all your needs and very polite. the accommodations in the area are very comfortable with old fashioned hosts that take care of your every need. the mountains are a beautiful sight to look at and of course the weather is guaranteed. my favourite place was the Asador de Soto hostal where we stayed. very good value for money and excellent food
