Suances has a few lovely beaches with lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. A good holiday venue but don’t stay in the town because too far to walk to the beach. There are lots of hotels, apartments near the beach.

Slight problem with the sofa bed.
Slight problem with the sofa bed. When in the seating position it was almost impossible to sit on as it tilted towards the floor and you slid off. Not comfortable at all and is the only comfy seating apart from one small armchair.

I could not believe that none of the 4 surf schools/shops were closed. That has never happened anywhere in tve world before. I booked 8 months in advance to cone to Suances to surf and waves were some of the best I have ever seen but left Suances after two days and no surfing just because the surf shops were closed.

Hotel ambiance and staff excellent, but stay in the Grand hotel Suances it is value for money.
The hotel is a one kilometre walk into Suances down a very steep hill, too steep for anyone having significant difficulties with walking.
Suances is an easy place to navigate on foot with plenty of restaurants and not expensive: Try La Cabana,

Beautiful town with very friendly people who were more than willing to allow us to experience their culture. Highly recommend. We ate in many places, all very nice and affordable. Hotel El muelle is a fantastic spot. Amazing facilities, cocktail bar, funky & modern restaurant, all round great. We also attended a wedding here during our stay, it was second to none.
The Hotel is part of the Amita Group, which I think has 3 hotels in Suances. We have stayed in the Amita, but thought we would try another hotel this time. We certainly weren't disappointed. Housed in a very modern building, we had a room on the ground floor. Maria, the receptionist, was so helpful and welcoming and we felt at home straight away. I have to say the breakfast was superb - the variety was overwhelming, with lots of home-made goodies, even the components of an English Breakfast! We would definitely stay at the hotel again.
This hotel is a small, castle looking building, overlooking a beach on both sides. Quaint place, rooms are fantastic, some overlook the sea with huge windows and spectacular sunsets, locals come here to see the sunsets. Food is very good, amazing cliff top walks very close by and beaches a short walk away, although along a steep pathway. We started our Spain trip here and loved it so much, we rebooked for the last night as well.
The property was absolutely beautiful. Very modern, clean and had an enormous balcony over looking the sea. Had a mini fridge which was useful. Power shower great. Sensory Lighting in the hallway. The staff at the sister hotel across the road were very helpful and friendly.
Great family-run hotel in a charming location at the Cantabria coast. Unbeatable views and very pleasant owners. Nearby there is a nice rugged beach and a promontory with a great views. Lots of attractions within 10-20m drive from the hotel.
Very clean, ALL staff warm and super people, very accomodating, food great, step out to beach tidal channel or straighton waves, Suances 5" car, good parking in a field with neighboring donkeys, bringing family back for sure!
The rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel has a racing theme which was fun. We enjoyed the breakfast, the children particularly. The beach Playa de la Concha is great, and a short walk from the hotel.
It’s a beautiful quirky hotel. We’ve been before and loved it but it’s now been upgraded and it’s even better. Good food all day, beautiful place to watch the sunset and great value. Very friendly, helpful staff.
The hotel is within five minutes walk from the beach and restaurants in a beautiful town. It was very clean and hospitable. There is plentifully car parking. We will use this hotel again.
Room was nice and clean, hotel was nice in general with a good location. The swimming pool area looks a lot better in the photos. That was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was nice.
