cute house and sweet town the host was great! we did blow a circuit and took hours to get power but there was a cozy fireplace great kitchen and clean house amidst a sweet town we were doing the Camino and though a couple km off the track it worked out well
This is a beautiful place to stay in Zubiri, especially after many days on the Camino. The Welcome was so nice and the renovated 400 year old farmhouse is beautiful! An added treat is that we were able to have our Camino clothes washed AND dried, a real treat! The store next door has so many great things to snack on or make a lunch or dinner from. Txantxorena was one of my favorite places when I needed to be spoiled on the Camino! Would love to stay there again.
The hostess was wonderfully helpful and accommodating about the two halves of our party arriving separately. We were grateful for her English, her help with our camino passport stamps, the information about Zubiri, and her assistance with planning for a return trip next year. This would be an excellent hostel for student groups, especially co-ed trips. Super clean, excellent beds, showers, bathrooms, and kitchen.
The hotel was absolutely stunning!! The ancient walls and floors, the beautiful beams, the lovely garden...all of it.
The room was really spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean.
They also had a kitchen and a gorgeous sitting area, although we didn’t need to make use of them. Check in process was easy, and the location in Zubiri was perfect.
staff were very friendly and helpful (do not take this for granted in the Camino trail!!!)
the hotel was very nice. beautiful, clean and comfortable
rooms. modern bathroom. nice communal area with fridge full of reasonably priced drinks.
great location - at the end of the Camino trail and next to. bar and convenience store (there was very little open in Oct so this is very useful)
In 2 Camino best property ever. Classic old home converted into 6 or so rooms. Private rooms never heard other guests. Beautiful area downstairs where you can bring back meal or glass of wine. Best part of property is the greeter. Spoke perfect English and was efficient with check in and info about Zubiri. Easy to find first left after crossing bridge
This is a unique hotel - an old farmhouse renovated to be a hotel. The rooms were spacious and it's located at the end of a quiet street so there was not much traffic noise. The hosts were very nice and they had lots of choices for breakfast (including gluten free toast!). We met a lot of fellow Camino pilgrims here, which was nice.
The host was wonderful. We arrived after a day of walking in torrential rain. She had newspaper ready for us to stuff our shoes with for drying. She invited pilgrims in for tea who had no place to stay in Zubiri and called taxis to take them into Pamplona. So very kind.
The room was clean, beds were comfortable, lots of hot water.
This hotel is superb. Run by a very friendly family who made us feel very welcome when we arrived. A beautiful old house that has been restored very sympathetically. We chose to buy food and eat it at the house. A comfortable lounge. The bedroom was large with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom.
What a surprise to find this gem. A visual jewel along the Camino del Santiago. You'd be lucky to stay here since I think it's one of the smaller hotels - I sure felt lucky. It was a shoot & and score for sure.
Also, a massage is available in your room if you decide you want that added bonus.
We truly enjoyed our stay at Pension Amets. Jose and his staff are wonderful hosts! Checking-in was easy, accommodations were clean, comfortable and quiet and breakfast was beyond expectations! Very delicious and generous! If we ever return to Zubiri, we will just definitely stay there.
What an amazing place! A beautifully restored old building at the end of the village street, this hotel is perfect after a day's walking on the Camino. Welcoming staff, stunning room, amazing jacuzzi and a really delicious and generous buffet breakfast. Best overnight stay of our trip!
We arrived in Zubiri on the camino and had a meal with others. Here we are, the hotel is right in front of us. The staff are so welcoming and caring. The hotel is really beautiful with a medieval touch. I will definitely visit again. Thank you guys for the special time
We loved the room, the old style of the building, the lovely garden out the back, the honesty bar and the relaxing ambiance of the hotel. The available of a laundry service was a definite bonus. Highly recommend.
Fabulous hotel in a historic building. Garden to sit in and dry washing. Didn't have breakfast but it looked amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Excellent position for the camino.
Staff was very welcoming. The building was beautiful, clean well located. If you're a pilgrim on the camino, the next morning starting point is right by the hotel. Highly recommend.
beautiful hotel and room with stone exterior walls - great staff that also did our laundry - close to the Camino Trail - beverages available for a minimal price
