Campanile Beaune, hotel in Beaune

This property is in an ideal situation, 2 km from Beaune's centre, 3 km from the train station, 40 km from DUON LONGVIC airport and directly accessible from the A6 Highway.

We stayed here only for one night while travelling down to the Provence. It's a nice hotel, friendly staff. The room interior was a bit dated but overall more than ok for those who are looking for a budget option next to the highway.

Le Central Boutique Hôtel, hotel in Beaune

Renovated in 2018, this 16th century hotel is located in Beaune city centre, in front of the Hospices de Beaune. Hôtel Central offers family rooms and free WiFi.

Le Central Boutique Hotel is probably the best place to stay in Beaune. The place is lovely, common spaces are beautifully furnished and staff is very nice and helpful, they help me rent a bike and let me keep it in their garage for the time needed during my stay. The host, Edgar, managed to build a very familiar environment, it really feels like home. Also, it's close to anything you'll ever need. I blow my birthday candle here, it has been my best stop in Burgundy!

We have stayed in many locations in France and love the country. Beaune is the type of small city that ticks all the boxes. We always look for cities with populations of this size as they have areas of interest , good markets, modern facilities in ancient cities. The best tip for people visiting France is the location, size of city - not more than 30,000 people and preferable 20,000 and not to travel in mid summer- it is too hot

For those who love HISTORY , good food and fabulous wines,...

For those who love HISTORY , good food and fabulous wines, Bourgogne is the place to visit , and Beaune is the largest city in the area. To make burgundy wine, you need special soils , and exposition to the sun at certain moments of the day. That part of France had différent owners, at the time of CHARLES QUINT ( the fifth) was built "Les Hospices de Beaune". Now it belongs to France, since a few centuries. At that time, and it is partly true to-day, Churches, Monasteries ,were protecting people in case of war or illness ,and were the only school, as well . With their magnificent coloured tiled roofs, their architecture, their furniture, their Museum, Les Hospices de Beaune are UNIQUE in the world !

Interesting walled town with cobbled streets and old buildings worth a look, particularly the iconic hospices de Beaune with its unusual roof tiles. A decent selection of bars and restaurants around and off the main square. Town easily accessible from the autoroute.

    This is a Beautiful place!!

This is a Beautiful place!! And if you stay within the Ring road, everything is mere minutes walking distance. If you are a wine lover at all, this NEEDS to be on your bucket list! A couple of things to be aware of: Accommodations vary Wildly in price and comfort, so shop around! Eating out in Beaune is extremely expensive, so if you are on a budget, a place with your own kitchen can be a great choice. Check out the local operating hours...they run differently than just about anywhere else I have been! And come prepared to walk...public transport here is not as readily available as other places in France!

Great town for a break from the bigger cities. Plenty of history and intersting things to do and see. The old walled part of the town was fascinating with plenty of excellent restauruants and bars as well as places of interest. We walked the wall and it was a great way to get a perspecitve on the old town.

Just a few minutes by car into Beaune or a 30 minute walk thro the glorious countryside. The new house and garden have been very thoughtfully put together and to a high standard, showing the personal input of the owners at every stage. Like a 5 star hotel in terms of comfort and furnishings and far superior to most local hotels. Excellent reception by the owners who run a successful wine merchants in town, demonstrated by the choice of bottles in the specialist wine fridge. We will be back in the summer. Even in November, it was special.

Marie and Sebastien are the best owners of the BnB, which was so meticulously and tastefully run with love. We loved the common room area where we socialized and spoke with them and other guests too. Marie went out of her way to book a restaurant for us even though she doesn't normally do so, and was very generous with her own recommendations around Beaune. The rooms were wonderful, spacious, and it felt so cosy and homey and not like a hotel. Absolutely loved it and hope to return!

This historic building is creatively reimagined as a domicile. It is magical. We stayed a night but wish it had been 3 as there is a fair amount to explore around the area It’s right in the heart of town. You will have to self park and it’s about $20usd for 24 hours. Make sure to make a reservation at the wine bar below. They have a 50 page wine list and their tapas menu rocked. The charcuterie and eggs were the best meal I had in France
