First of all, location, right as you get into town via auto or hiking the Chemin St Jacques. On the River Lot. You are greeted by a smiling hostess who is fluent in English and who has been the proprietor for 7 years. She is the figure-head, Cookie is the true greeter. They adopted him 2 years ago at dog rescue. He takes his role seriously. He is short-haired dark brown & black lab and hunting dog mix, with a right ear that telegraphs his emotions and interests. Nothing is better than when his male human parent shows up after work to take Cookie for a walk.
Nestled in the countryside with magnificent views of the Lot valley, and just a 10-minute drive from Figeac, this charming hotel is the perfect choice to escape the stress of modern life.
