The setting and the view where nice, however I wanted to eat outside at one of the tables that the landlady served us a beer at earlier, but then she told me I couldn't because other guests got to use it. Disappointing. I felt "stuck" in my room when she had a huge outdoor area/garden.

Pleasantly surprised to find this quaint, beautifully decorated and looked after boutique hotel. Very central with a public parking 150m away. Fantastic breakfast with so many goodies including organic goodies that I cannot list. A real meal. Has a small bar with a large whisky collection.

Our room was small but very clean, and had nice large windows that opened fully. It was quiet despite being right across from the train station. Staff on-site only speaks French so it's good to have a few phrases memorized if you aren't fluent. We were driving on this trip and free parking on the street in front of the hotel was easy to find.

This is obviously a place for walkers and people who take their exercise by cycling. But on the other hand it has quite a number of caves which can be visited to see where the wine is stored etc. We visited five and found in Veuve Amiot SAS a red sparkling wine which we had not found in France previously.
