The room was advertised with terrace. There was a terrace, shared with other rooms and separate from out room. Solid wood floors feature in the description. They are made of wood, but are laminate and noisy to walk on. Breakfasts were good, but the evening meal was not emjoyable.

Le Hohwald is a wonderful place to be for a "time out" and to enjoy a fantastic nature and beautiful villages like "Andlau" or waterfalls, the mount St. Odile and others. I wish I could live there! Very friendly people in Le Hohwald.AAnonymousTanzania

The major areas of Alsace are easily accessible by car, but we preferred the authenticity of Le Hohwald! The room was perfect, large and clean with thoughtful touches. Our hosts were incredible, very welcoming and always willing to have a chat, and breakfast each morning was so beautiful with homemade or locally sourced foods. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again.
