Breakfast was cooked fresh for the four of us and it was excellent. It was delicious, and there was so much of it. We learned the story of perte de pain "Lost Bread" which we call French toast in the US.
We had a champagne tasting the evening of our stay which was informative and delightful. Our hostess shared the story of their family champagnes which was such a treat.

Breakfast was beautifully prepared. There was homemade jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, coffee/tea, yogurt and fresh croissants, baguettes and walnut bread. It was a great way to start the day! The dining room looked out on the garden terrace. It was large and provided plenty of space without crowding. The hostess, Joy, was gracious and warm and made sure that we felt comfortable. Our room was spacious, bright and immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable. Sheets and towels were high-quality. The bathroom was large with plenty of light. At night, it was quiet and we heard nothing from the neighboring rooms. We had our own entrance to the terrace and there were table and chairs in front of our unit so we could enjoy evening drinks or afternoon tea. We enjoyed a lovely stay in the quiet countryside. The location was superb as we were only 20 minutes by car from Reims and 10 minutes from Verzenay if we wanted to access restaurants. We will definitely stay here next year. Our host made us feel welcome!

The location was perfect for a stop on our way to Calais. A wonderful origonal chataux with history and character. We were met by the charming owner. Our room was huge and confortable. We just loved the lake, and the feeling of this peaceful place. They do not have a resteraunt, but we did not mind. here are plently of places to eat nearby. We just went to the local supermarket and made a picnic.

Sparkling and new, modern property with all of the amenities, house coat, slippers that you come to expect from a top tier property. The location is a working champaign producer, on the Champaign Trail between Epernay and Reimes. The owner shared a bottle of thier product with us and it was a very sincere welcoming experience. The breakfast is very good and served fresh every morning. A great property with totaly hospitable owners.
