We loved the space and the layout in the pods. The park was immaculate and so clean. The facilities for the family were great, the kids all had a great time as did the dogs. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We will absolutely be booking again.

Good family room, breakfast was great and made to order with help yourself extras. Easy walk into central town. Nice sitting room available with little pay bar for a drink. Great water pressure in shower.

Kirkmichael is a quiet wee town but you have the mountains of glenshee to the east and Pitlochry to the west. And an amazing road between. Nice wee shop with cafe for everything you need. Great river walk from the village.

Kirkmichael is a hamlet situated on the River Ardle.
Kirkmichael is a hamlet situated on the River Ardle. In the village are a few lodgings, a restaurant and a small local shop.
The village is situated on the road between Blairgowrie and Pitlochry. This road takes you through beautiful countryside, but the road is very winding and mostly single track.

Ken & Moira were very friendly and gave great tips that ensured we got the best from our time there. We ate in Kirkmichael at the local hotel for our first night and again on our third as the food was so good. Although we left our small dog at home for this trip, we quickly found out that dogs were more than welcome at the B&B as well as all the restaurants we visited. Will take her with us next time.

we had a very enjoyable stay at the Lodge.
we had a very enjoyable stay at the Lodge. It was very comfy & clean. Ken & Katherine couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast & evening meals we had were good, very reasonably priced & of good portion. Set up the hills on the edge of the forest being a quiet location. Having deer on the doorstep is a bonus. Would definetly stay again

Sweet little village with interesting old church.
Sweet little village with interesting old church. Lots of walking nearby and great for cycling. Enjoyed seeing the swallows, swifts and house martins all around the village. perfect for dog walking.
The Stradhardle Lodge is located in the heart of the wonderful Perth and Kinross region. Kirkmichael is just a lovely little village surrounded by beautiful forrest and peaceful nature. The room was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed Paul and David’s amazing hospitality and their harty breakfast most of all. In hindsight we wished we booked more days in the lodge. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a place to unwind and explore the area.
My husband and I recently spent four nights at Strathardle Lodge, which far exceeded our expectations. Paul and David are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make guests feel at home. We were in room 5, a lovely bright double aspect room with views over the countryside, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in any hotel. We are already planning a return trip.
The Breakfast was probably one of the best breakfasts at a hotel/B&B I have ever had. Absolutely lush! great coffee too.
Really comfortable beds/rooms with access to food for evening via ready meal. But it was the hospitality that was really great which creates a super welcoming/relaxing atmosphere. Open fire in evening with a drink from honesty bar. loved our stay.
What a lovely little hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Bed was really comfy. Lots of little extra touches made all the difference. Loved the idea of the honesty bar but as we were at a function we didn’t get the chance to use it. 10am checkout was quite a quick turnaround as we only had breakfast at 9am but it was manageable and didn’t detract from a great stay
Lovely small hotel on lovely place in the middle of Scotland countryside. David was super friendly also after our delay in the check in. Self-service bar full of Scotland's products (whisky, gins, rums, beers, etc.) Also with some food to microwave, snacks and soft drinks. For our service was also prepared a board games, or beautiful blue salon.
This a lovely little b & b in a pretty little village. Moira and Ken are very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was delicious, particularly the avocado and poached egg on sourdough toast! The Kirkmichael hotel is about a minute's walk away and serves excellent meals and again, it's very friendly. overall, a great stay
The hotel was uncomfortably cold, and despite the spacious room, we encountered a dirty duvet upon arrival. We had to request a replacement from the owner and change it ourselves. Considering the high price we paid, we found the overall experience disappointing and would not choose to stay here again.
Wonderful location. The hotel is under renovation but is very peaceful and relaxing. Owner and staff are very helpful. Excellent food, both supper and breakfast. Book supper in advance as it's a popular place.
Kirkmichael is a lovely small village, very peaceful and incredibly scenic. The walks around the area would satisfy all grades, from easy through moderate. It is unspoilt and a perfect haven for a holiday.
quaint village hotel , ideally suited to travel daily to the ski slopes of Glenshee.
Hospitable staff who could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible, thank you Amanda and Alison.
We were offered without asking a continental breakfast because of an early start one morning which was brilliant. The hotel needs a little modernization but made up for this with welcoming atmosphere.
We really enjoyed our stay, the room was quite nice. The staff were really nice, it was one of the top hotels, in our opinion that we stayed at during our 10 days in Scotland.
