The pool is absolutely fabulous, sparkling clean and warm. The gym is brilliant. The building is a superb piece of history which is beautifully grand and cared for with a network of corridors hung with artwork and chandeliers, and an atrium that would make the natural history museum proud. We had the 4 poster bed which was sublime. The room was spacious and wonderfully quiet.

The family were so welcoming and helpful from the off. Paddy very kindly booked me into a restaurant that served lobster for the following day. Nothing was too much trouble and Paddy and Lisa are the best of hosts. The bed was so comfortable I had a completely pain-free night, which is virtually unheard of. I really liked the continental breakfast and I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the whole place. I felt privileged to be so warmly welcomed so quickly.
