The hotel is situated at the edge of the beautiful town and is very pleasing to the eye as you approach the complex. Being two friends hiking the Menalon Trail, we enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of the owner who welcomed us to the hotel, showed us the room and provided information about town such as places to eat etc. The room itself is two-story high with spiral staircase leading up from the ground level to the upper floor. The upper floor has a double bed and another single bed, while the ground level had a comfy sofa that opens up to a bed, if needed. Room has all enmities one would need for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was tasty, especially the cheese pies and the sweet pastries! Wonderful value for money.

After hiking all the way from Nymphasia we learned that our accommodation was at the very top of Valtessiníko and required us to walk up another 60 metres. No matter; the sunset view was well worth it, and so was Thea Valtessinikou! The rooms are lovely and warm, the view breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious. Thea was very friendly and professional.

Lovely place to stay in Valtesiniko... private and luxurious. Incredible breakfast hamper... there would have been enough in the hamper to feed us breakfast for close to a week! Unfortunately, as we were walking from village to village in the process of doing the Menalon trail we had to leave a lot of it behind as it was impossible to carry it all with us! It's a pricey place to stay (relative to other more basic accommodation options), but the quality matches the price. Very soft and comfortable bed linen, good internet, peaceful location. Host was very welcoming and helpful when we ran into an issue with the hot water (our error).
