I particularly loved the staff, they were very helpful, breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and easy going, it was warm and comfortable, the flowers everywhere were amazing and the bath and facilities like paradise.

Charming
In city center close to all tourist spots
How many people can say they’ve stayed in a 15th-century convent? You can if you book Relais Chiostro di Pienza, a charming hotel set right in the heart of Pienza.

This charming hotel is in a former cloister. The setting is absolutely stunning - we ate an excellent dinner on the terrace and watched a glorious slow sunset. Breakfast in the morning was very good with a good selection. The room was much larger and more comfortable than I expected and the bathroom was nicely modern. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Bagno Vignoni is a small, beautiful town. The first time we experience the thermal pool instead the Market Square. Around there are small restaurants with typica Tuscany dishes and typical Italian service kindness. Nearby there are thermal lakes and a lot of wineries with a good San Giovese vine.

It’s a beautiful, small village built around the central pool (which you can’t bathe in). There are several restaurants, a sprinkling of shops and out accommodation which has nan made pools (hit and cold with spa hets, a beautiful garden with lounges and a sauna room with pool and relaxing area / the restaurant here was great. Not sure what other accommodation was like.

This town is sweet, quaint, historical and picturesque.
This town is sweet, quaint, historical and picturesque. It is located in a breathtakingly beautiful part of Tuscany and has incredible views of the countryside from different parts of the town. The historical/archaeological site of the old mills that operated here using the thermal waters is a must see and is well marked with signs in Italian and English. It is also worth hiking down the paths to where the thermal waters run down to pools and then the valley. It is an incredible site and totally free to access. You are surrounded by nature here and I couldn’t believe how many birds I saw and heard in the middle of February. I did a little hiking and also found evidence of more wildlife around. It seems like a healthy ecosystem and it felt wonderful to be surrounded by that energy. The town layout is perfectly symmetrical with beautiful stone buildings surrounding a large rectangular thermal pool. It was lovely to stroll around the town at any time of day. I really enjoyed all of the playful cats that hung out in the town. They were sweet and cute and fun to watch.
Unfortunately, most of the stores were closed for the season and the town was quite sleepy since there didn’t seem to be a lot of people around. This quiet was welcome after noisy Florence but it would have been great if some stores were open.
La locanda Il Porcellum is a fantastic 4-suite house setting overlooking the thermal spring “sorgente “ in this unique & lovely town. It is also fantastic to be able to dine at the Osteria on the first floor! We thank Marino, Elena, Francesca, Chef Luigi & Katiuska for their warm hospitality. Luigi is an amazing Chef and his creations absolutely delicious (the Egg & tartufo is Top!!!). We highly recommend this lovely hotel /restaurant to explore the beautiful Val D’Orcia. We can’t wait to be able to go back to visit.
A beautiful apartment full of character and so well located. It is a very spacious apartment with full size beds. Huge kitchen , very beautifully done up interiors with tasteful period furniture . . Lovely views of the town square of the ancient village and Tuscan country side from the other side.
Just steps away from the Spas . Also a discount at the Spa Lot of Excellent restaurants near by. Would love to go back
Highly recommended
Best breakfast we've had in Italy. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great that there was a common area to relax. Even better, the grounds were spectacular, manicured garden and fragrant flowers, they were planting fresh pots as we were leaving, lots of shaded or sunny areas to relax. This accommodation is next to Hotel/Albero Le Terme and shares front desk and breakfast room.
Breakfast was delicious, great selection and the eggs and bacon were especially nice.
All of the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and nice. The room was great - we really liked the general decor of the hotel, we also like the artwork around the hotel and the green bar especially.
We loved the springs too of course, we had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The facilities are exceptional both inside and outside the hotel. The grounds and views are lovely. The restaurant food, both at dinner and at breakfast, is excellent. And the location makes it easy to visit the hill towns, like Montalcino, Pienza, and Montepulciano, or even Siena.
The host, Tiziana, was amazing and the apartment exceeded our expectations. It might have been our favorite place to stay. It is about a 2 km walk to bagno vignoni. You must stop on the way and get in the pools. We only stayed two nights here but three would be ideal to enjoy the countryside location. Highly recommended.
Staff was amazing, not your regular hotel staff, I believe personal connections have been made, emotional farewell last evening. Location couldn't be better, perfect if you want to make daily trips, perfect if you want to just chill in the garden, by the pool. Walking distance from Bagno Vignoni.
The location in the middle of town was fantastic and we had a lovely time in Bagno Vignoni. Access up to the village in off season is a bit difficult but we found an excellent English speaking taxi driver from Montepulciano. I have given his phone number to the hotel for anyone interested.
Stayed here for a few days while in Tuscany. The view was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Rooms were clean and spacious, comfy beds, plenty of breakfast options provided. The owners were very communicative and helpful. Very good location to explore the surrounding areas. Don't miss it!
literally everything. everyone was so wonderful, the facilities were impeccable, the spa was so relaxing. my husband is vegan and I’m vegetarian and our Italian is not so great and we were really worried about being an inconvenience, but the whole staff was so accommodating.
We rested in agriturismo for the first time and we really liked it. We had a very cozy room with a beautiful view of the fields.
The farmhouse is very well located. You can quickly get to the old towns. The owners of the hotel were very attentive. We felt at home.
This boutique hotel was lovely in so many ways. The front desk staff was amazing, the pools clean and organized and the rooms comfortable with great views. My wife’s massage with Andrea was beyond glorious; the best she’s ever had.
