Amazing view and an overall stunning location. The apartment is clean and nice. The smell of wood inside, so it makes it more authentic. Costantino is a great host who helped us a lot even though we were a bit late with the check-in, he was waiting for us!

The tiny apartment is to be found in one of the friendliest (and shortest) alleys I have ever seen, close to a fairy-tale square and basically everything in Castelmola. Since it is a very small town built on top of a hill, there are two car parks outside the town where you can leave your car. The apartment is only about a ten-minute walk from there, but be prepared to pay 10 euros per day for the parking. The apartment itself is clean, nicely furnished and equipped with everything and Castelmola is a dream.

Room was clean, spacious and equipped as advertised. Location is great in the middle of Castelmola (as long as you don’t mind the winding road up the mountain if driving). Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hilltop house, entire unit with bedroom, toilet, and kitchen
Very clean, has most amenities
15 minutes by car from Taromina, 5 minutes from Castelmola
Ample of private parking space, Car is necessary (not sure about the public transport)
Value for money
I stayed for 2 days; exploring Taromina early in the morning. I started from Castlemola and then took a walking track all the way to Taromina. (about 1 hour). The next morning, we drove to Mount Etna, which took about 1.30 hours. My stay was memorable.
Host Alberto is attentive and excellent. Thank you for hosting me.
UNAHOTELS Capotaormina is perched on a rock below Taormina and is surrounded by the sea, offering an amazing view of the fantastic Giardini Naxos Bay and Isola Bella Island.

Great location by the sea and regular shuttle bus to the town
Amazing place to stay. We went to Taormina for the day and enjoyed Castelmola during the evenings. Amazing view of the city and Mt Etna from the castle. It was easy to get to Taormina and we used both walking paths to get upto Castelmola, we enjoyed both paths equally. Loads of good shops/restaurants in the area too. Pizzeria Nina for pizza was amazing.

It's a lovely small village above Taormina. It is quiet, has beautiful views and friendly locals. The centre is lively, however not crowded or noisy. It was perfect, we loved it even better than Taormina!

Old Narrow streets, little bars and restaurants with spectacular views from so high, quite small so not too exhausting walking in 30+ temperatures but plenty of choice for refreshments including the famous bar Turrissy. Ours was a "family" visit with my Wife and eldest daughter 39!

You have to climb to go anywhere.
You have to climb to go anywhere. There are only a few shops. Some restaurants don't open until 7pm. The views of Mount Etna are fabulous. It is very safe. Try the almond wine over a bowl of ice cream; you won't regret it.

Castelmola is an exceptional and unique place.
Castelmola is an exceptional and unique place.
The views are incredible, the choice of food is fantastic, and the locals are warm and welcoming.
We were lucky enough to see Mount Etna light up during our last evening there, which made the whole trip for us.
The view spectacular. The hotel is decorated with antiques and the rooms are traditional in decor. The shower had strong pressure and hot water, but it is not enclosed so it neglected to warm the body fully. The beds were comfortable and liens clean and of high quality. The breakfast was very good with choices of pastries, meats, cheeses and soft to hard boiled eggs, made upon request! There was parking onsite for 7e or free down the road, but onsite was most convenient. The hotel is a pleasant 10 minute walk below Castelmola proper.
We absolutely loved our stay in Castelmola! The view of the hotel’s terrace is breathtaking, the panorama is a combination of the sea, nearby cities and the Etna. The room itself had a cool mediterrean vibe to it. Castello di Mola has the best sunsets, and you can enjoy a panoramic dinner at one of the restaurants next to the hotel. As for the public transport options, you can reach Castelmola by bus, which leaves every one or two hours from Taormina Interbus terminal and takes you up on a scenic 15-minute route to the city.
Castelmola is a beautiful little town about 20 minutes higher than Taormina. It doesn’t have a touristy feel to it, while it has some great restaurants and lovely people.
This little house is right in the center of old town and yet very quiet. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great! Right next door is a great place to get coffee and a chocolate croissant. There is free parking about a 5 minute walk and a bus every hour to Taormina.
Thanks to Adriana, the owner, for helping me!
It is a magical place with a beautiful terrace where you can sit for hours looking at Mount Etna. To experience all of that you need a car to get there. It is a house with an amazing atmosphere, not a soulless apartment or hotel room. The openness and friendliness of the hosts is an undoubted advantage of this place. Collecting fruit from a nearby orchard with the hostess will remain in my memory for a long time.
Wonderful location in Castelmola right on the Main Street. We chose Castelmola over Taormina just to avoid the crowds and enjoy the view. I’m so glad we did. This apartment had a very well stocked kitchen, great hot water, comfortable bed and even a washer (although my clothes wouldn’t quite dry completely in two days). Communication with host was great and we’d absolutely choose to stay here again.
Definitely the best place we booked in Sicily. Super nice stuff, amazing food and drinks, new and super clean room with everything you need, spectacular view. It was challenging to go there (as google maps are horrible), but owners wrote us the directions in advance and took care of us coming the right way. One of the few hotels I wish I stayed more than one night.
The village of Castelmola is beautiful and the property if five minutes or less from the center and from a great mimimarket. It is easy to catch the bus into Taormina. The house is well equipped and there are good supplies of water and fruit juice when you arrive. Giuseppe is a great host and replies promptly to calls for help.
We loved everything about the property. As soon as you walk in you are taken away by the stunning view of mount etna peaking through an arched window. this is especially beautiful as the sun sets in the evening. the hotel has a lot of charm and character. the staff are kind and welcoming. i especially loved how sweet one was!
We loved Castelmola. Borgo Medievale was in a good location if you don't have a car. We left the car in the parking they told us. Then had to walk a few blocks. They sent us a video of how to reach the hotel. It was very useful. Advice: have a small carry on or a shoulder bag for all your belongings.
This apartment was a great choice. The view is breathtaking! It was clean, bright and had all the amenities we needed. Our bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable.
Castelmola is a charming small town on the top of the hill - the drive up there is a challenge but also a great experience.
The views from our room were incredible despite the weather not being fantastic. In the morning we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the breakfast with more than enough food for two of us. The host allowed us to leave our luggage after check out so we could walk around Castelmola.
Although the hotel needs a renovation, the views make up for its value. The views from the rooms are amazing, looking over the Sicilian landscape, particularly Etna volcano. The room was clean and the owners were friendly. Breakfast had delicious croissants and decent coffee
We spent very nice several days in this place. Amazing friendly host, comfortable large apartment in the quiet area with excellent view over the mountains, valley and sea. Very convenient parking on site. Castelmola worth to visit!
A beautiful location, right in the centre of Castelmola, the old Borgo has been fitted with fresh modern rooms and spa. Beautifully done. We also brought our Vizsla and everyone was so welcoming of her!
Adriana was very welcoming and communicated with us from the beginning till the very end of our stay. The accommodation is well equipped and it was really clean. Castelmola offers beautiful views.
The B&B is located on a hillside with a great views over Taormina. A short walk to Castelmola. Restaurant is available on site and it has great food. Breakfast has room to improve.
