Everything was great. You can take long walks in all directions with incredible water views and visit quaint streets and houses.
Hiking up La Rocco is a must for the views but is difficult. Allow time for rest and wear sturdy footwear. I joked it was only fit for goats- then we saw goats.😊
Many restaurants there with good food.
Friendly people throughout this Medieval Beach town.
We enjoyed the beach. It is large and lots of room to walk and was not crowded.
Convenient and economical train transportation in and out of Cefalu so a car is not needed.

Cefalu is a very nice town.
Cefalu is a very nice town. We were visiting during spring time and it was not too crowded, this will probably be different during summer creating a different vibe then. Spending 2 or 3 days in Cefalu was enough for us. The town is situated in a special place, tucked away between the rocky mountain and sea. There are enough restaurants with medium to high quality cooking always for a reasonable price comparison.

It’s a wonderful town on the sea beside a massive rock stack - La Rocca Ecopark. Beautiful buildings in the historic old town centre. Great beach for swimming.
There’s a lot to explore and see. The food options are delicious; and at the end of April the whole place was buzzing with people enjoying themselves. Our stay coincided with Liberation Day.

The Old Town is stunning and the service in cafes and restaurants was very good. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We visited sites from Cinema Paradiso and the lady showing us the cinema was welcoming and informative. The Catherdral and the square it sits in are beautiful and lovely to see the Arab - Norman buildings. Beachfront buildings are beautiful.
Even though it was out of season it was busy so maybe summer it would be too crowded but understandable as so pretty.
Vegetarian food on offer less inventive that in other towns in Sicily but the sights of the Old Town make up for any minor disappointments.

An absolutely charming town, the resort was relaxing, the employees all so nice… Cefalu had incredible beauty and if you are there at easter, the procession to the dome at night was touching. Beautiful plaza in front of the dome. Everything you can imagine in a small sicilian town.

Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily.
Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily. There is abounding natural beauty and many interesting little streets to wander, dotted with shops and restaurants.
Our accomodation was over-priced for the offering.
We loved the hotel's mundane name, like 1970s Czechoslovakia. Great location on the beach, easy walk into town centre but away from the busiest part (in May). Very clean, decent size room with good balcony and superb view along seafront to old town. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was very good, although the coffee wasn't. Very nice pool area (but we did not use it). Hotel's car park was convenient - secure and hidden away- and cost was acceptable, and our dirty car was hosed down. (Street parking is free October-April).
Location was excellent . Very close to the beach and a few minutes walk to the center of Cefalu. View of the ocean with a small balcony (although a large parking lot below) Rosario, our host, was very happy and kind with suggestions for dinner et al. Room was small but clean. Bed very hard.. Subjective but a heads up. Along with a mention that there are 8 flights of stairs. The rooms are on the 4th floor. We knew this though and good for the legs, if healthy. Adorable town and best beaches we had in Sicily.
Perfect combo of luxury stay and feeling like part of an Italian family if you feel like it (they are very sweet).
Everything has been thought of and done with great taste.
The family really makes you feel welcome and is there to help you with anything you might need
The kitchen was really well equipped with all the basics (coffee milk and such) and the Prosecco bottle that waited for us at arrival was a great start for this stay!
View is amazing and worth the climb up with the car!
Sicily accommodation is expensive in general, and this hotel is no different. I have been to nicer 4 star hotels for cheaper in Europe, but this hotel ticked most of the boxes. Both the location of the hotel and the 'private' beach for hotel guests were amazing! Our room & bathroom were nice (4 star appropriate). The reception staff were very friendly & helpful. Basement parking is provided.
The siting and set-up of Hotel Kalura, with the sea on one side of the main building and a large swimming pool on the other, is a dream. So many lovely spots to sunbathe and go for a dip, set amidst striking scenery and crystal clear turquoise waters. Also - the waiters! They were lively, friendly, attentive and all seemed to enjoy their job. Not often you see that.
Great location within walking distance of anything and everything to do in Cefalu. Parking was perfect, onsite. Rooms are a bit tight, but tidy and basic. Lobby area is a bit cluttered, but clean. Host is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. One of the best breakfasts we had in Sicily! Great views from the breakfast porch.
Had all the comforts of home. Opportunity to wash clothes if on a lengthy trip through Italy/Europe. Lots of space to unwind. Property owner very knowledgeable about where to go and dine and enjoy the flavours of Cefalu. Wouldn’t hesitate to return and book again, right in the centre of the old town.
It was a lovely hotel with very comfortable standards and a big pool area and bar to relax. It was right on the beach and a short walk into the main area of old Cefalu. The sunset view from the rooftop restaurant was magnificent as was the food. Highly recommended by us!
Everything was perfect! It was the nicest hotel we had on our trip through Sicily. The villa with its garden, pool and room (huge shower!) was very nice. The personnel was amazing and we had a great stay. Hopefully will be back soon. Would highly recommend.
The hotel was in an excellent position and the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The rooftop terrace was perfect for a Cefalu sundowner! The family-run hotel staff were really friendly and helpful.
We loved this hotel so much!! it is very new, spacious, clean, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious! and the location on the beach was perfect! it is not right in the center of the town which was perfect!
Localisation is perfect and the staff is very nice!
Few stairs to the room (!) But big room and with aircon. No kitchen, the room is an extension of a 4 star hotel located further in the street were the breakfast is served.
Lovely family run Hotel. Stunning views. Pebble beach but they have sand bags to help you get in and out and you have free use of peddalos kayaks etc which is really nice and there is a beach bar. 10/15 min walk into Cefalu.
This hotel is centrally located in Cefalu. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, and the Duomo. Breakfast was fantastic and room was not large but it was comfortable. Parking was provided.
Hotel had its own beach and it was not crowded like what you would potentially get at the public beach in Cefalu. The location and the view is unbeatable. Walking distance to old town.
