Best location in the historic center “Old Town” between 2 canals, 15 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes walk to the beach!
The owner and staff speak English and make great recommendations on food and activities. They helped carry my luggage up to the 4th floor for an amazing view of the commercial ships on the canal and Sottomarina area.
The room is very basic and a hard bed, but this is common in Italy. Great air conditioning, even with the humidity. I got my exercise up and down the steep stairs!
Ca' dell'Angelo offers free Wifi and rooms with air conditioning in Chioggia. The property is around 1.1 miles from Sottomarina Beach, 28 miles from PadovaFiere, and 29 miles from Museum M9.

The place is immaculately clean and very quiet. When leaving I happened to forget my sandals and the staff rushed over to let me back in.
The B&B was within 5 minutes to walk to the cruise ship we were boarding.
We had a very long flight and the staff allowed to delay our check out time to allow as to get more sleep and see Chiaggio prior to boarding our ship.
A great place to start our trip!

The facility is basic. Did not realize I would need to walk up two flights to get to my room, but all was fine. Staff brought up our luggage and brought it down the next day. Staff not that great on English, but very helpful and kind.

Perfect location close to everything. The room was comfortable and very romantic. Loved the design. Quiet and spotless clean. Check in was very smooth and Barbara was kind enough to let us to let us check out later to catch our train. The perfect place to spend Valentine's day.
The right size for a week. The Thursday market is a must go.
The right size for a week. The Thursday market is a must go. Easy to get food. Nice beaches, although the see was a bit rough and not that clean for the second part of our trip.
There is a lot of small concerts and activities. Parking can get expensive, but you can leave your car towards edge of town for few euros. You don't need car around the town.

Chioggia is a place you discover and then come back again.
Chioggia is a place you discover and then come back again. Its generally only substitute of Venice globally but even better as 90% of people are local and prices are far less. One can take a boat ride to Venice if needed but there is a lot to explore in Chioggia and Sottomarina. Restaurants are a lot better then in Venice and at the canal. For info you can have 1 capucho and 1 expresso for 2.80e in Chioggia standard coffee place on main street.

We found Chioggia to be a clean and vibrant town, unfortunately we had to leave just before one of the local festivals was to take place, its not too crowded and very picturesque. Ideally situated if you wanted to visit Venice as its only a 1.5hr boat ride away.
Lots of restaurants a high percentage specialising, not surprisingly, in local caught fish.
Easily explored on foot or on a hire bike, the beach in Sottomarina is huge.

Chioggia is a beautiful historic (UNESCO) city - with all the charm and character of Venice but on a small scale and without the large crowds. A day out to Venice is easily done with a boat trip from Chioggia and the boat trip around Venice lagoon is definitely well worth the 10 euros.
Chioggia is ideal for holiday makers who want to avoid tourism hotspots and enjoy a romantic holiday with a warm/friendly atmosphere, well priced tasty food and genuine Italian hospitality.
Plenty to do and see and perfect for relaxing with an Aperol Spritz by the canals as folk promenade in the warm evening, tempered by a light sea breeze.

Chioggia is a beautiful coastal town located in the Venetian...
Chioggia is a beautiful coastal town located in the Venetian lagoon in Northern Italy. It is often referred to as "Little Venice" because of its canals and bridges, and it is known for its vibrant fishing industry, historic buildings, and delicious seafood cuisine.
One of the most striking features of Chioggia is its colorful and charming architecture. The town's narrow streets are lined with buildings painted in shades of pink, yellow, and blue, and many of the houses have ornate balconies and intricate facades. Visitors can stroll along the canal promenade, taking in the stunning views of the water and the historic buildings.
Another must-see attraction in Chioggia is its fish market, which is one of the largest and busiest in Italy. Visitors can watch fishermen unloading their catch of the day, and then browse the stalls selling an incredible variety of fresh seafood, including prawns, squid, clams, and mussels.
Foodies will also love Chioggia's restaurants, which offer delicious seafood dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Some popular local specialties include sarde in saor (sweet and sour sardines), risotto di gò (risotto with goby fish), and granseola (spider crab).
Overall, Chioggia is a wonderful destination for travelers who are looking for a unique and authentic Italian experience. Its stunning architecture, bustling fish market, and delicious seafood cuisine make it a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the Venetian lagoon

Chioggia is a perfect little getaway from the crowds in...
Chioggia is a perfect little getaway from the crowds in Venice. It has a similar feel to Venice with the canals and buildings, but it's not nearly as crowded and loud. The food is good, and the beach is very easy to access!
The hotel is located on the street leading towards the bridge to the island/old part of Chioggia which is 15 minutes away if you walk slowly. We appreciated the large parking (the entrance is via quite narrow street but the parking itself is surprisingly large) and the offer of free bikes for rental. Theoretically, you can drive in old Chioggia but riding a bike there is much more fun. The bike may also come handy if you prefer the beach to the old town, it is much faster to get there on a bike.
Beautiful setting and courtyard to sit and relax. The location was convenient and walking distance from restaurants and center. The room was lovely and private and very clean. The owner makes breakfast every morning and it was absolutely the most delicious cake, croissants, fruit ,yogurt ,coffee and eggs too. The owner was very pleasant and had helpful suggestions for restaurants and activities. I hope we get to come to Chioggia again and stay in the B&B La Corte.
The hotel Duomo is a lovely small hotel. It is located in the center of Chioggia opposite the Duomo. It deserves far more than the one star rating. The rooms are stylish, the bathroom modern and comfortable. Breakfast is served at the bar below the hotel. Try the spremuta and the fluffy brioche. A big compliment also goes to the staff, who were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.
Casa Camilla was absolutely beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and fresh inside and out. Walking distance to everything. Including Chioggia and the Sottomarina Beach where you can walk for miles! Such a quaint little fishing town. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. I can't say enough good about this little treasure and would recommend it to anyone!
Chioggia is an amazing little town to base your Venice visit from. It felt a bit like Venice but without the crowds and over-priced restaurants. And it has a beach! Hotel Clodia is located within 2 minutes walking of a variety of restaurants and the ferry dock to Venice. Room was clean and neat and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value for money stay.
A truly beautiful apartment in the historic port of Chioggia, the host was super nice, he provided bicycles for us to use (which we didn't get to), even left us a cake the final morning, Parking is not available in this part of town, but we could drive up and unload, the host helped with the luggage, and then directed us to a nearby affordable parking lot.
I've stayed in many hotels around the wider Veneto, including in Venice, Treviso, and Verona. I have no doubt that the Hotel Grande Italia was the best I've been to — incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating staff; great service and local knowledge; excellent food at breakfast; big comfortable rooms with excellent facilities.
The bed and breakfast was located in the center of Chioggia, we were provided parking that was very convenient, given that access to the center of Chioggia has narrow streets, its a historic center afterall. The room was quiet, the breakfast perfect for our needs and the hosts very friendly and accommodating.
Charming apartment with original terrazzo floor. Enough space for 4 people. The apartment is calm though it is in the Centre of beautiful Chioggia with many bars and restaurants. It is possible to park at the apartment to carry the luggage. Parking 7 minutes walk and wonderful beach 25 minutes nice walk.
The hotel is located in a really authentic and nice place in Chioggia. If you want to travel there by ferry - the stop is just next to hotel. The hotel is really classic, with an early XX vibe. The rooms are really quiet, staff is really friendly and the bathroom is very pleasant.
Excellent location, great breakfast at the bar dowstairs, extremely quiet during the night (Chioggia isn't exactly known for its nightlife).
If you are looking for a spot to stay near to Venice (around 30mins by car), I would strongly suggest considering this hotel.
Great Location - completely fresh renovated - felt as if we were the first ones to be there
Super clean
Host was super friendly
Beach, Shopping and Old Town - it all in a walking distance
There is an actual elevator right into the Appartement #awesome
The host was so helpful in telling us about places to see and where to eat.
The room was beautifully presented, tidy and clean.
The area is very quiet and close walking distance to both Chioggia and Sottomarina Beach. Highly recommend.
Super clean, calm and well equipped and perfect location to the ship yard and the beach, i really enjoyed spending a week here
The landlord super nice and helpful
Good connection transport to Venice every half an hour ( bus number 80)
The hotel is located in the center of Chioggia in a great location to explore this charming town as well as the nearby Sottomarina, a tourist resort known for its long sandy beaches, all either on foot or by bike.
Excellent location, comfortable and cosy apartment right in the center of Chioggia. Procedure to check-in was very simple (managed via whatsapp with the manager). Perfectly clean. Excellent value for money.
The host is super amazing. She is helpful, responded very fast to any messages and is a very friendly person. The room is very nice, modern and clean. We had a good time in Chioggia: 100% recommended!
