The hotel amidst the orange and lemon orchard is a true oasis and the most gentle staff takes care of every need. The restaurant serves delicious breakfast and dinner, lunch is available also at pool side. The active Etna could be seen puffing whilst we were relaxing at the pool. A modern, stylish and comfortable boutique hotel. You are surrounded by natural wood, quality contemporary furniture and fittings, beautiful art. The place is spacious with lots of natural light and rooms are lovely. Our host Iolande looked after us very well and was in touch pre-arrival; guided us to the location; recommended restaurants and places to visit. She also upgraded us to a superior room which was outstanding and provided a lovely breakfast. The superior rooms had their own communal lounge and kitchen area giving much more space to relax. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. It is ideally located for visiting Etna and the surrounding villages, countryside and coast, very quiet, yet only 20km from Catania airport.

The location is a bit out of the way, but it has the advantage that you don’t have to fight your way out of a built-up area to get to where you want to go. A good base for exploring Mt Etna. Used the pool, but to be honest in April it was still too cool to stay in for long.
