We traveled 7 motorbykes, 10 friends and I must say that the service was TOP! The hotel has parking space behind the hotel, very safe space. Clean, big rooms.
The sandy beach is only few minutes away :)
It was really hot, when we arrived, so we asked the host if he had some cold drinks. He provide everything. So we seat and chill in the shadow around the big ceramic table,..... :)
And for the end, we eat excellent in the evening in their mini restaurant.
If you trevel near by - I fully recomend.

A squeaky clean spacious apartment close to everything. Got myself a free upgrade which was most appreciated. The host was thoughtful, kind and informative. A great little place to stay to recharge your batteries.

This was a perfect apartment for us - it was very convenient to the main road out of town enabling us to visit numerous fascinating Calabrian towns and sites. Stefania, was a fantastic host, she met us on arrival, was very friendly and helpful throughout. Prior to our arrival, her husband Giovanni sent us clear directions to the apartment. They live in the building so it was easy to contact them.
I can see some confusion in the reviews - the listing is not completely clear that there are two apartments - both on the ground floor. We stayed in the one bedroom which has the spacious open-plan kitchen living dining area, a terrace with a seating area and nice views - particularly in the evening - when we sometimes had stupendous sunsets! We missed out on having the larger terrace but were pleased nevertheless as it was nice having the open space room with large patio doors. The place was immaculate, and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable - we slept well after our long days travelling!

ancient town up the hill, more modern town at the bottom, there is a bus that runs up and down, you need to phone for it. small charge. 2.50 euros a trip. Its a really charming town at the top, very atmospheric and at the bottom the town is a working town, I liked it and the beach is very close just beyond the station. Lovely people in this town, its small but friendly. Lots of restaurants in the upper town, I had a wonderful pizza and a good restaurant in the lower town too, just one I think So an interesting town with a long long beach on a fast train line to Naples and Rome,

European visitors must be made aware that life comes to stop from 1pm -3 30 pm during the week and everything closes on Saturdays at lunchtime until Monday! Not a criticism - just needs to be put out there! Street market on Sundays mind blowing. Old city beautiful. People lovely.

Coastal city with a quaint historic center.
Coastal city with a quaint historic center. A visit to the Santuario di San Francesco da Paola is a must. The city is steeped in history of the saint. The aqueducts at the edge of town were pretty amazing. Stayed at a great b&b and ate at the same restaurant three nights in a row, so delicious. Small town feel in the center and heading uphill.

Ancient Italian city which combines seaside experience with little bit of hiking. There are a lot of religious statues and places which attracts a lot of visitors. Definitely worth visiting for a day or two. Locals don't speak English, only few people do, but coffee is great.
Very good option to stay on the road to/from Sicily, or just visiting Paola, which is charming nice old town. House is easy to locate nearby main road, either its easy to go from it into old center. The option for easy parking on site adds a great value for travellers with car. My room was clean, with view over the sea to horizont, well styled and equipped, with comfortable bed. Shower achieved the warm water just in 5 mins, its ok :) Great thanks to owner for positive attitude, help with everything, and good breakfast.
Very nice apartment, well presented, lovely views from the large balcony.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best and so couldn’t make use of the outdoor seating and unfortunately there is no indoor lounge area.
Located at the top end of town with easy access by car from the main roads, we would suggest not driving into the middle of town as the roads are very narrow with no parking.
The hosts are extremely helpful with suggestions of places to visit before arriving and help with anything else you need whilst there.
The room was fantastic! with an amazing view on the "piazza", the bed was very comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated room with a large bathroom, and all very clean! Alessandra, the owner of the BB, is very professional, and a very friendly person! the breakfast is served in a bar facing the property, where one can taste the yummy pastries of Paola! All was very pleasant and I highly recommend this BB for your stay in Paola.
Beautiful, relaxing grounds with views of the ocean. The room was big and the bathroom sink was large with good counter space. The hotel owners and staff were pleasant and allowed us to stay at the pool after checking out on our last day since our flight left late in the day, which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast had a lot of variety, which was nice. We only stayed two nights but we enjoyed it!
a wonderful apartment with a huge terrace and a fantastic view, just a few minutes to the beach and also to the old city centre with a lot of good restaurants.
Joe is a very friendly host (free pick-up-service from/to the train station and lounge chairs at the beach, helpful informations)...we felt very welcome and enjoyed our (unfortunately short) stay in Paola very much.
As I didnt have my own transport, I took advantage of Valeria´s offer of coming to pick me up and take me back to the train station. The hotel was enchanting and my room was spacious, spotless , beautifully decorated and I had a wonderful sea view.
The breakfast was varied, fresh and delicious. Valeria was a lovely kind host and her staff were polite and helpful.
The place was very close to the train station and the sea. With a short walk up the hill you can also find the center of Paola. The place was fresh, clean and looked quite new. The bed was super comfortable and it was a nice sized bathroom with a spa shower. We had a cozy simple italian breakfast in the café across the street- espresso and a cornetto.
We loved every minute of our stay especially the hosts personalized, warm welcome. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the town of Paola, as the birthplace of San Francisco di Paola. We highly recommend this beautiful house and the town. For food, please visit Focetola, gastronomía at Corao Garibaldi 4, 87027 Paola, Province of Cosenza.
Perfectly located to visit the town of Paola, an easy walk into town and 20 min walk to the beach . 20 min walk up to the sanctuary which is well worth a visit. The apartment was very well equipped with all you need and the host kindly left fresh food for the next days breakfast . Parking is available close to the apartment .
It felt very authentic, original not just another white box! The touches were homely and the little tables laid out with our breakfast were so sweet! It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, an excellent last minute stop for us - we enjoyed a wander around Paola and had a very nice pizza in Arteca
Wonderful location just off the central square and great value for money. Maurizio welcomed us on arrival and was most helpful, including the great suggestion of local restaurant for an evening meal (Vecchia Paola). Lovely breakfast of coffee and pastry at a nearby coffee shop included.
This hotel is an excellent location very close to the beach. The staff was excellent. They must have a full time gardener because the grounds are covered in plants. There is excellent private parking with dedicated stalls.
This B & B is in a lovely location, it is overlooking the main piazza of Paola. We had the balcony room and it was clean, we could even see the Sea from it. The room was spotless and breakfast was in a local bar.
we just stayed one night to make an early train but we were pleasantly surprised to be met at the station, shown the apartment, and told of the Paola highlights. thank you, Barbara, for an exceptional stay.
