Very friendly and helpful owners. The restaurant was closed for summer so they drove me down to another restaurant and picked me up again later. Nice breakfast variety too.

Sabbioneta is a little town, completely surrounded from the old defensive walls of the XVI century. It was the court of a prince who wanted to create an ideal city. There are several, nice sightseeings, like the "galleria degli antichi" (long, all decorated by frescoes), a beautiful museum with wooden representation in natural size of notables of that time, ad an original theater with statues in a very uncommon position. All this sightseeing are from the XVI century. The city is worth a half or even a full day visit. Good restaurant in front of the galleria, near he hotel.

This 'perfect Renaissance town' is an okay spot to see if you're driving by, but I would not suggest going out of your way to see this village halfway between Mantova and Parma. But hey, if you ever find yourself cruising along SP420, it's probably worth a quick stopover.
Lovely hotel in the "ideal renaissance city". A large room. Three comfortable beds. Refrigerator, electric kettle, tea, coffee. Convenient parking on site. Friendly staff. Detailed recommendations for settling in and a guide to the city. I recommend!
Splendidly and recently renovated, this B&B is perfectly located, exceptionally clean and convenient, and its owners are adorable and will offer a delicious breakfast and great touristic information on Sabbioneta and its surroundings. 10/10!!
The location is really good. In particular my favourite visiting site there, the gallery, is just across the street. Also I enjoyed the decoration of the hotel as well as the well-reserved frescoes in my room.
All was great from a to z. Very kind people. Lovely hotel and city. Its just next the center, bakery next the hotel is also very nice. I had an excellent time there. Parking is free and very near.
