The Location of the hotel was exceptional for access to transportation (train and ferry) around Lago d'Iseo. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the lake and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the 'worn appearance' of the bathroom the facilities were very clean. The owner was extremely nice and carried my luggage up to the train station for me after I had injured my hand.

The best stay I have ever booked. Friendly owners, lovely dogs, perfect location (train stop only 3 minutes, port 4 minutes, supermarket+pizzeria 5 minutes far away), ultimate cleanlinnes, big room, spacious bathroom, terrace, breath-taking view, delicious breakfests, home-made cakes, excellent coffee, family atmosphere... everything exceeded our expectations. Lori & Leo are really nice people with great hospitality.

Sulzano is a magical place nestled between the lake and mountains. Tourists can enjoy the beauty of the Lake Iseo. The water is crystal clear. The view over the lake is absolutely breathtaking. It’s a wonderful starting point for trekking the ancient Valerian Road or hiking the mountains. There are regular ferries to Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe. Sulzano is definitely worth a visit.

Very convenient location for taking ferry to Monte Isola-- 2 minute ride. Also, convenient for cycling north to Vellow & around to the western side. Rivalago hotel was a wonderful place to stay & dine. Tourist Info office very helpful with suggested biking routes & ferry schedules for various towns around the lake. Local biking shop near the ferry very friendly, only 15 euro for daily bike rental. Great staff & sunset views at Il Cacciatore Restaurant. Also, loved the food at Rivalago Hotel. Overall found very limited restaurant choices in Sulzano & no boutiques. Loved our 1st visit to the lake, but next time will stay somewhere with more dining & shopping options

Sulzano is a brilliant place to stay, with spectacular scenery, friendly people, and plenty to explore. A short train trip to Iseo and then brief walk brought us to Torbiere del Sebino nature reserve. We also jumped on the regular ferry across to Monte Isola, and climbed up for the marvellous view. The weather in September was gorgeous, and the beautiful butterflies, lizards, and other local wildlife kept us fascinated all week long.

Free parking (10 min walk uphill, because parking in the towncenter is highly restricted). Very friendly and helpful owner and stuff, really supporting, absolutely welcoming. Fully staffed kitchen with breakfast goodies. Funny decorations in maritime style. Little terrace available! Sulzano is a perfect spot to visit the Iseo Area!

Parking was off the road outside the property (not secure - but not a problem) It is a wonderful place to spend holiday time! There is parking externally available about a 10 min walk away (steep hill). Breakfast was next level amazing. There was even soy milk cappucino. Restaurant was excellent for dinner. Room was super. Views were wonderful. Pool was very nice. Close to ferry as well.
