The service was excellent. The onsens, both the mixed by the river and the separate out door were great. The meals were outstanding. Do the half board. It’s worth it.

The cooked dinner was really nice, a perfectly filling bowl of sukiyaki. The guesthouse's onsen was a bit barebones but really pleasant. There were groceries available to buy in a little convenience store area by the front desk.

Really friendly staff, and the food is fantastic. A shame that we didn't arrive at the property sooner to really take advantage of all they had to offer. Got to try pounding mochi in the morning!

There was a lot to like about Oyado Eitaro.
The location is very convenient - only a five (maybe less) minute walk from the bus center.
We dropped off our luggage before checking in and later found the bags in our room.
The dinner was a wonderful experience and was probably some of the best food we had on our trip. It was a great way to try many different dishes, all of them well prepared. Breakfast was a similar experience.
Both the public and private onsens were very relaxing and very clean.
Overall an amazing experience. If we ever come back to the area, we’ll be looking to rebook Oyado Eitaro.
