Clean, hot shower, hair dryer and toiletries provided.
The breakfast is generous with good coffee! You must try it!
Walking distance to everything, train & bus station, harbour, main shopping street, restaurant and bars. I went there on Koningsdag when everyone parties hard on the street , surprisingly, my room was quiet and I didn't hear the noise at night.

all was lovely, a beautiful room, a whole fully equipped separate kitchen for the guests, wonderful cozy breakfast where there is so much detail for your wants, we eat vegan and even though Hennie had little knowledge about this, she did her uppermost best to provide us a lovely breakfast and took wonderful care of all of us. What a stunning and interesting town to visit and we already want to go back. So much history and the most beautiful buildings. Lots of great restaurants and all the shops you could need. Easy to charge our car and the nearby parking in a parking garage was cheap. The steak we had for dinner at Heavens Hotel was the best I had in a long time.
Hoorn has lots of green space and you can do lots on foot. Easy walk to the marina, a large park and a huge swimming area on the Hoornse Hop close to town that seems to be newly created and will start opening slowly bit by bit from July. I participated in a big event and on the cycling leg I saw a lot of the beautiful surrounding area, so we will return for a more leisurely visit in the near future.

Hoorn is a small village about 30 minutes northwest of Amsterdam. Our accommodations were located in a boat, just outside of Hoorn. A nature trail near our boat took us into town via a forested area with a good path for walkers and bikers. On Saturday morning, Hoorn has a small market, many backeries and a few cafes were open. Many cyclist going through town.

Its a great base for visiting Old Holland and also a good alternative to staying in Amsterdam, which is only 30 min away by train. The bus station is in front of the train station and easy to use to visit Edam, Volendam etc. Its also easy to reach Alkmaar and Zaanse Schans from Hoorn via train. Lovely old town with great center, unknown to me previously, but I will return. Has an old-world charm with modern amenities, and great architecture in centre; it is fabulously landscaped around the coast and canals to great effect. Plenty eating out and drinking choices, shopping to be had.
Absolutely everything was exactly as we hoped it would be. We were visiting from America, and wanted an experience that would be different than what we were used to having on the USA.
Ria, and her beautiful and unique property were wonderful! Situated right on the picturesque harbor, it is easy walking distance to everything! We stayed on the top floor. Ria is a charming host who prepared a fabulous breakfast that could have fed a large family! If we are ever lucky enough to return to Hoorn, we will definitely stay there again!
I loved the hotel and its location. It was cute from the start. As you entered you could see that it was a very nice restaurant/bar in the lobby. They had a nice elevator in order to get your luggage to your room. The room was very nice and cozy. But a very nice bathroom with a large tub!! The location is wonderful at the top of the shopping street. I would definitely stay here again!!
The parking was great. The entrance was great. The reception was fast and superb. The restaurant was high quality and fab service. The elevators great. The room was Phenomenal. Breakfast WOW. Great experience for a very reasonable cost. I will stay here again. In fact I will bring my family for a weekend in HOORN just because this hotel is so good.
Location is the best if you want to see the centre of Hoorn. The hotel itself is quiet, clean and the staff was nice. The train station is a few minutes away by walk, shops, restaurants also as the main entrance is from a pedestrian street. We arrived back to the hotel late in the night and the night access was well resolved.
Location. Close to Hoorn train and bus station and main shopping area. Restaurants are close by. Sights to see are all within walking distance.
Arie always gave great customer service.
Place came with a big garden.
The charm and character of a converted old church would transport you to another time but with a modern twist.
I received a friendly welcome and staff were happy to help with any requests. The location is perfect for a lovely walk into the town centre. The surroundings are beautiful and you felt as if you were staying in genuine Hoorn and not a hotel chain.
The owner was very accommodating, warm and enthusiastic. She is a very good musician as well. The hotel was in the center and really accessible. The breakfast was abundant. The room was great and comfortable. We loved our stay.
Quiet tranquil location overlooking a small marina and lake. Large apartment style room and en suite. Very modern and comfortable and very friendly and helpful host.
Lively restaurant/bar and lakeside bathing on the doorstep.
Hennie is very nice and wonderful host. She knows a lot about Holland, Hoorn, Amsterdam and is a great help at planning what to do. The place is clean. I liked the kitchen, so I could have some coffee and dinner by myself.
Small hotel with rooms in separate adjacent building. Very private room with view over canal and bridge. Bicycle could be parked securely. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Location in middle of city superb.
Restaurant was excellent. Theater also very good.
Love the energy conservation of having to use keycard to access lights and therefore lights go off when leave the room as you take your key with you. Very cool!
Easy to get to the location. Local restaurant was awesome.
