Perfectly located with direct access to the airport.
Room had a quite good view, nicely decorated and good space.
The restaurant is quite nice.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, AMEDIA Hotel Amsterdam Airport offers pet-friendly accommodations in Schiphol with a 24 hours reception . Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.
Located in Amsterdam, 1476 ft from Amsterdam RAI, nhow Amsterdam Rai provides accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a bar and a terrace.
The gateway to the Netherlands, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is one of the world’s busiest international passenger terminals and home to the Dutch national airline, KLM.
The airport sits on reclaimed land around 10 feet below sea level on the site of a former huge inland lake. In fact, the name Schiphol may mean "ship grave," a reference to the ships that would periodically be sunk in its turbulent waters.
A train station serving many Dutch cities lies beneath the terminal building which houses a mini Rijksmuseum exhibition, reference library with multilingual books, and plenty of shops selling the ubiquitous clogs, tulip bulbs and cheese.
Booking.com’s range of Schiphol Airport hotels includes several on-site hotels. Others are in neighboring Hoofddorp, a town also within the area of the former lake, whose De Eersteling windmill overlooks a dike encircling a former fort.
Another windmill, the Molen van Sloten, is across a canal from Badhoevedorp on the airport’s north side. To the east, the huge Amsterdamse Bos forest is a haven of peace and tranquillity (apart from the occasional aircraft!) and borders Amstelveen. To the southwest is Aalsmeer, a town set on the huge Westeinderplassen Lake, and whose massive flower auction house receives daily consignments from all over the world.

It helps to have a little fore - knowledge about the airport for ease of finding your way. It's very well organized and has good small fresh food places . As far as airports go it is well planned, well laid out and very manageable.

The only thing I had problems with was locating pick up area for Uber cars. I lost my pick up and had to take taxi.
It is usually a friendly airport for travelers.
For the rest I have nothing to complain about

Arriving at midnight is a nightmare and there is no other option for my travel. No staff available. Entire airport is closed up. Signage is terrible. A 10 hr layover is far from ideal and having no other options other than the $300/night Yotel (have to check out at 7am) or uncomfortable benches to sit on is just horrible.

many people were confused,
Very long Security lines.
lots of nice eating places.
The police were helpful when asked about a Shuttle service to Ibis Styles and that it was running until 1am.
Super location, well signed, and only 5 minute walk to the entrance to sprawling Schiphol airport. We had a 17 hour layover. We went into Amsterdam and back for a couple beers at a gezellig place. Much preferred staying here than a hotel in the city, less expensive, and also don't have to worry about what time to get up or train connections.
Very friendly and professional staff.
The hotel is very quiet to exterior noise. The mattress was very comfortable.
We had an unexpected stopover in Amsterdam when our flight was cancelled. A quick hotel search took us to the Sheraton, just a short walk across the airport. The location was perfect, it meant we also got back to the terminal for an early start the next day.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was excellent and the shower was good. The curtains provided blackout conditions and the room was extremely quiet; both things essential at an airport hotel.
This is a great and convenient modern hotel right near the airport. It is a five minute walk from the airport terminal (outside of the secuirty gate). The room is modern and clean. Perfect for my long overnight layover between international flights. The staff are really friendly. The lobby area has lots of seating and tables for meals or work or relaxing. The hotel room is compact and well-deisgned. I'd recommend this hotel for transit travellers.
Very convenient location for anybody travelling to/from the Amsterdam airport without having to pay for a luxury hotel.
The hotel has everything you need to rest after a long flight, the mattress is very comfortable and you have the option of harder or softer pillows.
Fun gadgets in the room to control the lights of the shower, bedroom, turn the TV on, and pull the blinds up in the morning.
The buffet is extensive and you have a lot of choice.
Lovely, quality hotel, at walking distance from Schiphol airport. Perfect to spend a night when traveling very early or late from Schiphol. Restaurant The Bowery serves great food. The breakfast buffet has everything you need, prepared with great care. The evening restaurant serves quality dishes, a great mix between international and local dutch food. Chef Luc knows what he's doing, His passion shows.
Very close to the airport. Could trolley all our luggage from the airport train station to the hotel and there were plenty of trolleys outside the hotel early in the morning to take back to the airport. It snowed a lot in the morning so the undercover walkway to and from the hotel was great! Cosy living room atmosphere downstairs for food and drinks. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.
close to the airport, so if you are stuck at Schiphol, worth looking at it as the price might be lower than at the airports' hotels. Super helpful and cheering staff makes the difference as most of the clients reach this place because of a delayed connection and are usually already tired and grumpy... rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing special about the place but it serves its purpose.
The location and shuttle are amazing when traveling to and from the airport. There are not many cheap food options around, but other than that the location is wonderful. The staff goes above and beyond and the room has all the amenities one could desire. This was our second stay there and, for the money compared to other hotels of the same caliber, Radisson blue is hard to beat.
It's in the airport which is super convenient. I travel to Amsterdam for work and typically stay in this hotel the day before my flight back home. It's become sort of a tradition to stay the night before with my husband and have a steak dinner with a brandy alexander at the hotel for dinner. The restaurant is fabulous and the bartender is super accommodating and friendly.
I had a very good stay at the Ibis Styles Hotel. The room was cleaned daily. The area is pretty quiet. It is also nice how the hotel is close to the airport (10 minutes away) and there's a free service airport shuttle available which makes it convenient for first time travelers to Amsterdam. The hotel is also close to the bus station that takes you to the city center.
If you need a stopover to sleep inside the airport, it would be convenient. I had a super early flight, but still had to go through passport control when switching terminals in the morning so probably staying at a more comfortable and cheaper hotel outside the actual airport would have saved as much time.
Hotel is located on the airport and accessible directly from the arrivals terminal, while it also has a road exit for taxi and other rides pickup. It is elegant, amazingly clean, spacious, awesome rooms. Rooms are comfortable, clean, view on atrium is awesome, especially at night with all the lights.
We booked the hotel because it had a perfect location for an overnight stay close to the airport and also to Amsterdam. They offer a free shuttle bus to Schiphol every 30 minutes, and from there you can take the train to the city (15 minutes).
Direct on foot connection from Schiphol airport terminal. Quick and easy check in and check out. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and very modern and clean room.Excellent sound isolation in the room, no noise from the airport at all.
With the current chaos at Schiphol airport one needs to check in very early necessitating to stay in a local hotel. Steigenberger is one of the best values for money, this my third time in two months and every time perfect
