It is a lovely looking and pleasant hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities are nice. Restaurant is a tad expensive, but ok. Apart from that, no complaints at all.

Out of the busy centre but easy to hop on a tram or metro into the city - around a 15 minute easy flat walk to the stops. We had lovely views from our spacious Superior King room on the 12th floor, and the soundproofing was great. The hotel was not noisy even though it was incredibly busy. The bathroom was stunning, with a huge freestanding bath under the window & his n hers showers in one cubicle. Staff were great & we enjoyed our stay.
Bastion Hotel Rotterdam Zuid is situated on the A15 and is easily accessible from Rotterdam and the rest of the country. There is free Wi-Fi. The hotel offers comfortable rooms.
The canal trip (2 hours) was great. The local market was very good. The show we went to see was cancelled at the Stoep theatre, so we never got to experience the theatre. The meal we had at the "windmill" restaurant next to the theatre was good. Local people and staff at the Atlas hotel were very friendly and helpful.
The room was ok, you could see it was renewed, the furniture was new, but the hotel is old and neglected, the only thing they renovated are the rooms, but the bathroom was disgusting.
The breakfast was ok, I never eat heated meals for breakfast so I don't know what was served, but there was all the usual stuff - bread, vegetable, cheese, ham, yogurt, croissants, tea, coffee.

The Hotel is suitable for a few nights and has friendly and helpful staff. It is within walking distance of the pleasant city center. By bike you can go in all directions, such as along the old Maas all the way to the North Sea coast.
My kids have enjoyed the hotel very much. The breakfast met our expectations. I have enjoyed the parking in front of the hotel. We had a very good dinner in the hotel, sitting outside next to the water channel with ducks.
It is a lovely looking and pleasant hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities are nice. Restaurant is a tad expensive, but ok. Apart from that, no complaints at all.
Having a pool open with the ease of the covid restrictions was the reason for choosing the hotel! and it was indeed very nice as at the time it was not crowded.
