Had a short stay here and found it quite pleasant. The place is peaceful and somewhat remote. The accommodation had a rustic charm to it, and both the common kitchen area and bedroom were spacious. I assume (based on the different hiking trail posters in the reception) that this area would be much more enjoyable and recommended during warmer months.
Just a note for potential visitors: access can be a bit challenging in winter due to road conditions. While buses are an option, they have limited schedules.
On the bright side, the location, based on the whole of the Lofoten Islands, is very strategic and convenient for exploring the famous beaches and hiking trails.

The owner brought us some shampoo and body lotion because we left ours at another place. Good place to see northernlights as there is less light pollution.
This property offers traditional fishing cottages. Some have sea view (harbore) some have bay view (bay is small amount of water, where boats can not go) and some have village view.

It is a relatively quiet area with beautiful surroundings, it is away from E10, but still close to main attractions on island. The busiest spot is the hiking people going to kvalvika beach, the parking place is always full

Fredvang is in the midway.
Fredvang is in the midway. To the right, Leknes and many beaches and left, A-lofoten, Rhine that we can drive back and forth easily. Grocery is nearby for buying food. For Lydersen Rorbuer, background view is great for taking picture, not too much light, with mountain and shadow of aurora in the water. However if you drive in Lofoten, especially in winter with snow, you've to be more careful of narrow and slippery road.

Superb nature and landscape. Lot´s to see and do.
Services only few miles away at Ranberg, should be mentioned separately well-equipped local store!
For dinner I recommend to visit Reine and its nice restaurants.
Travelling with car is effortless and quick to all-around.
This was first time visiting Lofoten but definately not the last.
All in all this is so much nicer way to spend holiday than going to Atlantic mass-tourism islands or far east that many Scandinavians prefer.
Have to admit that I think Lofoten is the most beautiful place that I ever visited.
