The traditional Swedish charm and environment. The accommodations were roomy, very comfortable. The B&B was situated on the river with a very large beautiful green lawn as well as gardens. The owner and nephew were exceptional hosts. We were served a very complete breakfast in a very warm dining setting. We absolutely loved the country feel of the area with numerous horse stables and small farms. Very relaxing place to spend some needed down time.

This hotel is housed under the same roof as the central Plushuset shopping and entertainment center, only 220 yards from Avesta Central Station. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking.

This was a blissful place to stay immersed in gorgeous green nature right on the lake. The house is clean, cozy, and has a wonderful homey feel, with a really beautiful lounge area with sofas and a well-stocked library of books, and nature views from every window. I felt instantly comfortable and settled in, and the peacefulness infuses you instantly so that within a day of arrival I felt completely rested and restored. The only sounds are the breezes blowing through the trees and the birds chirping. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, stocking some special food items for me. There is a big kitchen stocked with lovely teas and coffee, and plenty of fridge and pantry space. I did not explore the amenities on this short trip, but will love to return for the sauna, lake hikes and swims, and all the property has to offer.
