Only here for business.
low rise, clean city with wide-wide tree line avenues. some areas looking tired and in the process of renovation. Asi park amusements are tired and in many cases out of service (semi abandoned park).
residents (like rest of Uzbekistan) are kind to visitors and generous with their time, walking around is convenient and taxis are plentiful. Enough to do and see for 1-2 days as a tourist.
Be careful on the pedestrian crossings, many drivers treat red stop lights as a suggestion rather than a requirement,

From the touristic point of view there is almost nothing to see. The city has much in common with Tashkent: wide streets and no narrow streets or pedestrian zones with urban flair. Also the few older mosques are not worth to come here (two were even completely closed.)
So I would summarize it as "like Tashkent" without museums and cultural flair.
