The food and service were great. The room was lovely. My only challenge was that the shower was plastic and I slipped and cut my foot open :-(

A picturesque town with many interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Good choice of restaurants, interesting art, mostly within easy walking distance.
Restaurants and shops closing early during the ArtWalk weekend was a disappointment. It seems pointless to offer activities that draw visitors, but then not offer them what they came for.

This quaint town is a treasure trove of antiques, books, friendly locals, and the slow-paced traveler. Horses in the backyards, coffee with delicious baked goods around every corner, and local art and artisan chocolates to keep you wanting to stay even longer.!

Greyton is a very pretty village.
Greyton is a very pretty village. A lot of good accommodation available. Quite a lot of restaurants, cafes / coffee shops. A supermarket, petrol station by and a pharmacy, so more than adequate from C a shopping aspect.
We were there for the annual classical music festival, not the first one we have attended in Greyton, and it was most enjoyable.
Great destination for walks / hikes, mountain biking etc.
Generally a great place to visit !!

Greyton has so much to offer.
Greyton has so much to offer. This time we chose a quiet and peaceful stay, popping into the various little shops and restaurants and 2 leisurely walks around the town were sufficient. I have done the Greyton/ McGregor hike a couple of times in the past which is not easy. AbbeyRose offers great meals and The Post House coffee shop super cappuchino. I can highly recommend Carla for a massage!
We attended a wedding in Greyton and stayed at this property for two nights. The location was perfect, nice and central. The restaurant where we had breakfast was great. The service and food was fantastic with a huge variety to choose from as well as generous portions. Our room was spacious with a comforable bed and lovey hot showe. Unfortunately our room was not serviced during our stay and no replenishments of coffee etc. were done but met the new owner and he took note of all comments in a very positive way. Wishing them all the best!
Wow! The photos don't do it justice! This is world class accommodation with comfy beds and modern, sparkling clean bathrooms. The staff is amazing! The owner is really attentive and kind. It's the middle of winter and our heater ran out of gas. Andrew arranged to have a replacement bought for us at the local store...all within a space of 30 minutes! Breakfast was lovely, the garden was amazing too! I could go on an on! This is THE place to stay in Greyton! Thank you for a safe home away from home!
Accommodation was perfectly situated in the town, easy for us to walk everywhere. Bedroom was very spacious, Decor in bedroom and bathroom beautiful, and so clean! The King size bed was so comfotable! Amazing garden and different outdoor seating areas. to relax at. Hosts, Cecil and Corrie, were absolutely wonderful and spoilt us with rusks, muesli and yoghurt for breakfast, plus there was coffee, tea, milk, still water. We would definitely book here again whenever we next visit Greyton !
Excellent accomodations in Greyton! An exceptionally homey apartment close to the Saturday market and downtown attractions. Thoughtfully appointed with all the comforts of home. Solar power is appreciated to avoid load shedding. The yard/garden is tranquil and offers spectacular mountain views. Most important, Doug and Beulah were fantastic hosts, and took great care to ensure our wonderful stay.
Spent quality time with my family in a beautiful house and town. De Oude Pastorie feels like home away from home. It is situated in the main road with many little restaurants to explore and a market on each Saturday. I would definitely recommend staying at De Oude Pastorie while you are exploring the lovely Greyton area.
Charming small hotel with lovely gardens, the rooms, linens, pillows and bed very comfortable. It is an older property, funky pool, but had a fun style to it. Loved the small town of Greyton and all the Mt. Bike trails. The location could not be more convenient to the town, bike rental and Saturdays farmers market.
It was the perfect location, serene and peaceful, for a wonderful weekend. We stayed in a beautiful renovated, well equipped farmhouse, Wildevy
Hemelsbreed Farm is in the Overberg, surrounded by the Riviersonderend Mountain range, only 10km from Greyton.
We can definitely recommend Hemelsbreed Farm
Great location in town, walking distance to everything in the village.
Rooms were not luxurious, but perfectly comfortable and quickly character. Each room with its own decor, and interesting furnishings.
Perfect for a Greyton breakaway!
It is in the beautiful town Greyton in the Western Cape. It had all the necessary basic facilities, it was quite cosy in a nice country-like street, the garden and the trees around the house create a relaxing atmosphere.
The interior design and landscaping at Greyton Lodge are beautiful and well curated. The breakfast is also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was generally good and also worked during loadshedding.
The staff kindly prepared breakfast to take away the next morning as we hiked the Greyton to McGregor trail. They also looked after our luggage whilst we hiked, and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs.
Studio Frangipani is located in the heart of beautiful Greyton. The apartment is clean, fully equipped and has access to the property's beautiful garden. Beulah and Doug are gracious and helpful hosts.
Toad Hall has a fantastic location right off the main street in Greyton. Very sweet garden with chickens and a wood fired hot tub (did take a while to heat up though!).
Absolute Gem in Greyton. The attention to detail cannot be better - all that you need and more !
Perfect setting, beautifully furnished, will definately visit again.
Greyton is a beautiful town and this accommodation is wonderful and beautiful.
