Minette was a superb host and went out of her way to to us feel welcome. She helped us with printing documents, supplied my husband with a razor and accommodated out late check in and early check out. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and has been decorated beautifully! Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Minette!

As Paarl is my home town I’m probably a little biased. The town has much to offer. The historic Main Street, so put on your walking shoes. For those travellers who enjoy wine Paarl has a lot to offer. There are plenty of wine estates to visit including the KWV winery. A visit to Paarl Rock is a must with stunning views across the valley. Paarl is home to the Afrikaans language visit the Taal Monument. For those travellers who want a relaxing break, Paarl is for you. Paarl unlike other Wineland towns like Stellenbosch and Franshoek is a lot less quieter with fewer tourists. A gem not to be missed.

Paarl has a very interesting Main Street if you enjoy architecture: there are a couple of centuries of architectural styles here. The scenery and surrounding mountains are spectacular and of course … let’s not forget all those gorgeous wine estates, tastings and food pairings.

There is more than enough quality and good restaurants.
There is more than enough quality and good restaurants. Lots of things to do (e.g. el Paca farm). beautiful surrounds and fairly quiet. The only detractor are the beggars on the streets - I never felt threatened, but it gets a bit much after a while.

The Laborie location is perfect ..close access the highway .
The Laborie location is perfect ..close access the highway ..and not far from Franschoek and Stellenbosch. We really enjoy the Winelands and prefer it to the the hustle and bustle of Central Cape Town. Paarl itself is quaint and quiet ..although in fairness we did not venture out into the wineland area of Paarl ..as our trip was too s hort ..only 5 days ..next time it will be for two weeks ..
I have stayed at Goedemoed under its current and previous owners several times since 2010. It is perhaps my favorite place to stay in all of South Africa. Stunning views over the vineyards to the mountains in the distance. The property, centered around a Dutch colonial manor house, has recently been renovated. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Feels like you are in the middle of the countryside when actually you are two minutes from the Paarl Mall or the restaurants on Paarl's main road.
This was our second time staying in at Boschenmeer House. Last time was nearly 10 years ago.
Large comfy bed
Super-friendly staff
Nice location - close to centre of Paarl. New shopping mall just outside the estate. We did not visit it, but can see that it would be very convenient to have.
Guesthouse is located on a golf estate, which is very tranquil
Our room had a lovely view of the golf course and mountains.
Quaint unpretentious cottage on a working wine farm run by the family owners. Amazingly comfortable beds. The cottage is well appointed for both short and longer term stays. Stunning views. Central to be Paarl winelands and a perfect place to base explorations of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine regions. Staff are exceptional. The family owners live and work on the estate and are welcoming to their guests.
I might be a little biased. Paarl is my home town. That said the Pontiac Manor Hotel is very friendly and professional. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our evening in the restaurant was very good and popular too. Meal excellent. Breakfast in the morning was good. The hotel is in an excellent position to see historic Paarl with its stunning view of Paarl Mountain.
What a lovely place!! Everything you can want in a self catering unit… very well equipped, clean, tidy, very spacious, relaxed environment, safe and secure. Thanks Sandra for being such a superb host and accommodating all our needs!! I have to compliment you on the little extra touches on arrival, wood & matches, ice, fresh bananas, lovely rusks! We will definitely be back!
Top views from the balcony and from the perfect infinity pool. Kristien has the perfect sense Even for all the small things that makes a stay confortable.
It was a unforgetable stay with peace in mind. Compliments to Kristien… our first choice for staying in Paarl. We are looking forward to coming back.

We had just come from the Okavango Delta that day and couldn't have been staying at a more comfortable and welcoming place. The rooms were superb and welcoming and the food was outstanding. We had a wonderful evening with all the employees too and an early morning walk for coffee in Paarl. Location perfect for us.
As a self catering unit they dont serve breakfast but it has all the required equipment including a washing machine that will help you to make your stay comfortable. It was sweltering hot so it was quite refreshing to step into your place with the air-conditioner screaming "Welcome to Cold Air".
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely Laborie Estate. Great staff and convenient location in Paarl. The room was comfortable and the setting superb. Despite a few minor gripes we would definitely return on our next visit to the area. And their cap classique is delicious!
The bed was very comfortable, staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice and satisfying served on a porch with nice garden view, the lobby of the hotel has a nice Victorian ambience, perfect to start your morning. Good wifi connection. Lot of parking is available on spot
The location of the property was prime because my friends and I were going to a festival in Paarl that was 15 mins away from where we stayed. We just needed the place for one night and the apartment definitely filled the purpose that was needed.
Paarl was a nice place to base from. Suite was larger than expected. Very large bed, bedroom, and bathroom. Common area table to sit out and drink coffee in the am. Happily surprised about washing machine (just be sure to use the quick setting).
Checking in went very smooth, safe parking, amicable staff, a nice clean room, a great location with lovely views, and an exceptional breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to spend the night in Paarl.
Beautiful location.
Kristien and her staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful, and attentive to guests’ needs.
The view over Paarl can’t be beat. Absolutely gorgeous guesthouse. Only place to stay when in Paarl!
Rhys was super helpful with information and things we asked. conveniently located in Paarl and nice place to stay and explore. it is located at a small hilltop with a beautiful view over the mountains
The owners are lovely friendly people. The rooms are spacious, clean with everytjing you need. It is a home from home. This will be our future go to accommodation in the Paarl area.
Location is perfect for ever being in Paarl can't be more central . The breakfast was not the greatest on the day but maybe they just had a bad day since loads of people
