Great building, friendly staff. This is where James Bond would stay if he came to Sabie

An excellent place to find yourself in nature, I would say it would be better experienced outside of the rain season, but if you do decide to go within the rain season, make sure to pack enough clean clothing, But still super fun to hike in the rain, so beautiful so green.

Sabie is a lovely little town and we really enjoyed our stay. The vendors can be a bit of a bother when moving through the town as well as the local drivers are impatient, but over all we will definitely be seeing Sabie again in the future.

Very small town so its fine to stay for a weekend and experience but not much longer, if you not doing adventures activities, not much else to do.

Picturesque, fresh mountains and views.
Picturesque, fresh mountains and views. Clean, crisp air and pure water at certain venues. The roads need help, but most areas in South Africa do. Abundant wildlife and vistas to choose from. Everything is rather close and easy to navigate.

Beautiful waterfalls in and around Sabie.
Beautiful waterfalls in and around Sabie. Roads getting there a bit of a challenge though. Lots of good eateries. Day trips around the area recommended. Many hiking trails for the more energetic. I braaied every day, as nothing beats a dip in the pool and braaiing on the huge deck with the fabulous view.
I was given directions without asking for them.
The spacing inside the rooms.
The beauty of the place (plants and facilities)
The river.
The pool.
The peace and calmness you find there.
Mr and Mrs Sabie(I forgot their surname) oh maan they were very welcoming. We arrived pretty late and they patiently waited for us and did not even shout at us for paying the next morning at 9am. Even on Sunday before we left, Mr Sabie was there to bid us farewell even though we check out at 10:45 way after check out time. We are grateful for the treatment...
We loved our stay at Sabie Peak View! This was our second stay and it felt like a second home. Having stayed in a number of other Sabie accommodations this one is by far the best value for money. Lillian the caretaker was very nice and helpful. Very well located in Sabie, just on the outskirts and in a very nice neighborhood. The guest house easily accommodated 4 people and had a great kitchen and braai facility. Perfect as a base to explore Kruger and surrounds. We cannot recommend this place enough!
I love the secluded location and the mountain views. The staff was really amazing!!!
I actually loved everything about, it was my second time visiting Misty Mountain. And I definitely intend to return.
The lodge has enough activities to occupy you if you don't want to go to sightseeing. At the same time Sabie town is 30 minutes away so there's plenty to do there as well.
Sabie is ideally located to explore the greater Lowveld region - equidistant from Sudwala Caves, Nelspruit, White River, Pilgrim's Rest, Blyde River Reserve, Hazyview, and only an hour from Kruger Park. The tents are spacious and comfortable. The gas geyser worked like a bomb ensuring hot showers throughout our stay, despite endless power cuts.
Sabie is one of South Africa's natural Treasures, one of the most beautiful place in our lovely country, Eagle Creek is a perfect place to lay your head down while exploring this Wonderful area. The staff is very helpful, They even sourced the Vintage that we drink, even tho they did not stock it normally.
It's such a lovely and picturesque place. I absolutely loved our time there.
We were treated to a delicious breakfast at the stables. Jens and Jaco were stunning hosts. We will definitely be returning to River Suites Sabie.
I loved having the river so close. We could hear the water from our room.
Large apartment at the price of a room. Beautiful property situated on the Sabie river. Undercover parking. The owners are very friendly. The area is quiet although fairly close to the main road. Quality mattress. Made a two-day break feel like a holiday.
What a little piece of paradise in Sabie! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hosts beyond accommodating. Our appartment was absolutely perfect and we loved the jacuzzi! The outside space around the pool and bar has a wonderful vibe!
Everything was laid-back and connected to nature.
The beautiful old furniture, next to a natural river, great shower basin, road to the lodge covered by super green bushes, lovely staff, self catering services with all necessary etiquette.
The place was welcoming, the staff was friendly, we interacted with the night shift guy named Sizwe who was very helpful. Kids enjoyed the heated pool as well as the play ground. Sabie river camp is a home away from home.
Location perfect. Less than an hour away from Kruger National Park.Sabie Sands Even Closer.Longtom Pass is quite a Twist and Turn Road. But in excellent condition.Scenic Drive all the way!BackUp in the Form of Gas Stove.
The caretaker lives next door and is very helpful. The house is large and pleasant. We stayed a night only, but for a self catering visitor (with their own transport), it would be a great place to stay longer.
The breakfast was amazing ,but i was not happy with our room,i didnt have an aircon they only put the small fan atleas the hotel blanket helped ,,nonetheless the less we enjoyed the view and the activities.
This trip to Sabie was a wonderful experience we were more than happy with the accomodation and friendliness of everybody. We can definitely recommend Sabie self catering apartments.
I had a very warm welcome from Brian who I could ask all the questions I had about Sabie and its sights close by. He even gave me the bigger room and was just very welcoming.
