The welcoming when I arrived was warm and friendly. The supper I enjoyed before the buffet was served was tasty and well prepared. The breakfast was outstanding. All the staff behaved professionally with dignity and kindness. The room had a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The hot tub was the highlight of my excursion. The view on the mountains and the silence nature provided was a wonderful spiritual experience.

Room was basic but comfortable (tea and coffee facilities, but no fridge). Parking on site. Very safe town even at night, Load shedding was not an issue while we were there (lights remained on). Breakfast was exceptional and by far the best we had on our trip with lots of home made options. Dinner was also very good. Easy walk to the main street (5 min).
Pear Tree Cottage is a small garden cabin located north-facing the Storms River peak and surrounded by vegetation and a natural pond. Free WiFi access and parking are available.

Absolutely gorgeous and interesting Town with the earnest loveliest people in South Africa! We can’t wait to return. Village Inn is top class superb in every way! Can’t wait to return thanks to the lovely staff!
Nicely perched on the cliff with views of the ocean.
The main building was a quaint little maison that is tastefully decorated. The pyramid was a totally unique accommodation with great outdoor soaking tub and beautifully decorated interiors.
Most importantly, service staff were great. I was served by a staff named Tisha. She was service oriented and knows how to strike good conversation with her clients so as to make them feel comfortable, at home, and welcomed.
Warm and welcoming hosts! Lovely grounds and clean rooms. The breakfast was quite tasty and served outside on the patio. The inn was a bit farther of a walk to village restaurants than I had realized, but not far and still easily doable. The inn has a separate bar, and if you're lucky, it will be a night when the locals come in to socialize and have fun!
The setting in the Tsitsikamma forest is perfect.
The village inn is beautiful. Old worlde charm with all the modern facilities you'd need in your clean and spacious rooms
Staff were so friendly and the meals served in the restaurant, breakfast is included, were very good. Lovely ambiance in restaurant
Gardens are beautiful
The service and overall experience was absolutely fantastic, we visited for my spouses birthday and we were put in a romantic room with a fantastic breakfast, friendly service and would recommend this accommodation to any visitors looking for a quiet relaxing getaway for family/friends or just you and your partner. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amazing location! Breathtaking views, staff were amazing. Got a free room upgrade for the second room also. Used the sauna room, had dinner as well as breakfast the next morning before heading off to the garden route national park!! Def recommended. Best accommodation on the garden route!
The location was perfect! What an amazing little village, within walking distance of everything. The tin house was perfect and a lot more than we expected. The attention to detail was amazing. We had a wonderful stay! Will definitely go back there.
Staff and amenities were great, it's walking distance from the shops in Stormsrivier and the trips to the bus stop at Storms River Bridge and Tsitsigamma Park were readily handled by the shuttles on demand (for a price). Rooms are clean and comfortable.
The cottage was big enough and comfortable for our group of 5...the location within the Tsitsikamma Village is perfect. Breakfast was also a nice add on to our overnight stay.
The grounds are beautifully kept, lovely to see.
Great location, close to the main few restaurants/shops in the little charming Storms River.
Good driving distance to attractions like the big tree, National park and Bungy jumping.
Good breakfast with good variety.
We love Stormsrivier, and the Village Lodge is so well situated to all the activities in the village that we could walk within minutes to where we wanted to be. Lodge is our first choice when staying in the village.
The room was well sized and clean. It was within walking distance of storms river village and a fast drive to Tsitsikamma national park. The reception was extremely helpful all round a pleasant experience.
The cabin design and decoration is pretty. It is very comfortable and warm. We felt safe. There is a nearby restaurant where you can eat. Very near Tsitsikamma Natural park.
Our hosts were amazing, friendly - and the accommodation felt like being home. The breakfast is a winner and our boys enjoyed the flapjack treats a lot.
