I know Arniston well it's not my first visit. If you are looking for a real fishing destination it's here along the beach. It's a quite.. serene getaway where you want to relax.. not dash out shopping or fighting traffic or finding false entertainment. Here at Arniston you experience untouched seaside splendor and real nature

The Arniston Spa is a genuine friendly, very well run family hotel, at the centre of an area packed with interesting things to see: like the “tame” family of stingrays at StruisBaai, the southern-most tip of Africa, the local absolutely fresh & perfectly cooked very simple rustic seafood restaurants.

A bucket list destination, that is just mind blowing.
A bucket list destination, that is just mind blowing. We used to live permanently in Arniston and we now return as often as we can. It is food for the soul and has a mind-blowing atmosphere and presence. It is not for the bright light, city life, types. but rather for those who want to appreciate nature in its perfection and serenity at its best. The walk to the wreck site (if the wind/storms were kind) is a must, and so too the Cave and the Beacon and the Dunes, and the list goes on and on...... Arniston is a piece of heaven.

The Fishermans village was very quaint and interesting, right next to the hotel, you can take a walk around. The scenery is beautiful. Not many restaurants but hotel was great, delicious breakfast! Dinner choices were good but.... don't let an Italian near the pasta!

Stunning views. Great walks in the area.
Stunning views. Great walks in the area. The Waenhuiskraans cave was very impressive.
Had a great meal at Wanda's restaurant. Stick to the fish dishes preferably. The meat dish was done to our liking but the meat itself was not very tender.
The location of the property is excellent, in Kassiesbaai which is a heritage area, with a view of the sea and within walking distance of the little harbour and the Arniston Hotel. I liked it that I stayed in one of the traditional fisherman's cottages and that the house is lovely and spacious and the bed I slept in was very very comfortable and the bedding was clean.
We liked everything no complains at all...
Staff was so friendly and helpful....
The view from the hotel it's self was so beautiful evens the view from our room was lovely...we just want to thank all the staff reception housekeeping barmen (Darrel) waitresses and most of all the chef outstanding serves rendered.
Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff eg. Suggested that if we wanted a quieter dinner setting, we could use the other dining room and had a choice from both menus.
Relaxing and comfortable setting.
Beautiful view.
Amazing Breakfasts.
We had a wonderful stay at BlueSky Arniston. The host/owner is lovely and had very helpful tips and a list of things to do in and around Arniston ready for us upon arrival. We had a very pleasant stay and will certainly be back soon.
We had the added unexpected bonus of a private courtyard alongside our extremely spacious and bright room so sitting in there first thing in the morning with a cup of tea (load shedding permitting) was a real treat.
Enough warm blankets. Enough towels. Lovely braai area with spacious lawn. Beautiful wide sea view and outside verandah. Kitchen well equipped with huge fridge and dishwasher. Safe, secure and private.
A tired hotel.
Breakfast was great, but accommodation very tired.
Stunning views of the sea though.
To be fair we arrived on a rainy day, so that didn’t help the atmosphere.
Self catering but sufficient kitchen to make a super breakfast. I really like the spacious feeling here with high ceilings and thatch roof. The real fisherman cottage.
