Opononi Bliss has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Opononi, less than 1 km from Opononi Beach. The property was built in 2006 and features accommodation with a terrace. The Opononi Bliss was perfect for our stay! The host was friendly and provided lots of helpful recommendations. We loved the cleanliness and decor of the cottage. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the marvellous hospitality and the excellent facilities so close to the city. Our St John's therapy dog Maisie loved her stay too.

It would take me a whole day to list everything I liked about my stay but I’ll name the key players. Firstly, the hosts Peter and Sara were such welcoming and friendly people. As soon as I arrived they invited me to have dinner with them, and we finished off a lovely night in with a game of Rummikub. Secondly, the location is just stunning. Peter took me to see the dairy farm next door and even let me have a go milking the cows (not by hand haha), and after he took me on a hike up the local mountain which had a 360 degree view of the landscapes. Also an honourable mention goes to the tens of animals I met while staying there - my fave were Sara’s horses. It was the best way I could’ve kicked off my NZ trip. Thanks so much Peter and Sara for having me! I would recommend this place 100 times over.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Riverside Retreat is located in Whangarei. Easy check in process, newly renovated house, a little hard to locate as it is down a shared driveway, neighbours are nice. Has everything you need, nice furniture and styled well, bed is comfortable, tidy and clean, would highly recommend and stay again, close to town.

Vibes were 🔥 view a serenity ♥ tucked away but close to town and many scenic history 👌 everything we needed and wonderful neighbours.. only critique was leaving 😔 loooove the Hokianga 🙏🏻
