The food was beautiful local produce cooked to perfection. it was a family run business and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was compact but worked efficiently. The bathroom was done beautifully.

This friendly hotel has lovely views of the sea and estuary and offers well-priced food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork, and Cobh.

The breakfast was good. Staff was possibly stretched thin. But once they realized we had not been taken care of they brought us coffee. They could have checked back with us. We got what we needed eventually. I own a tour company and wanted to decide if I would use Walter Raleigh Hotel for my groups. I do only 16 people max. 8 to 10 rooms would be required at the most.
