The hotel provides breakfast on a gorgeous patio overlooking the sea. There is also a private patio for guests with the same amazing views. Vernazza was slammed with people during the day but calmed down in the evening. Good restaurants and gelato nearby.
Pensione Sorriso has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Vernazza. This 2-star hotel offers luggage storage space.

Very friendly, welcoming staff who are eager to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Since we were the first guest to arrive that day, the Inn staff showed us three rooms to choose from. We chose the room facing the train station. I wanted to hear the trains running through and stopping at the station. Suffice it to say, it didn't bother us and we slept well.
Excellent breakfast. Very convenient location; less than two minutes' walk from the train station.
Featuring a wide shared terrace, Lisetta Rooms is located in Vernazza, 2 minutes’ walk from Vernazza Train Station. All rooms feature a fan and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Out of the four places we stayed on this trip, DonnaBarbara's was the best. She was friendly and accommodating, she even said we could leave our luggage before and after check in/out. She left us a ton of food. There were meats and cheeses, fruit, packaged pastries, and more. I really like the way the apartment was decorated. It had that beachy vibe, without being over the top. Plus, the location was great. Just a few steps out the door and you are by the water, with shops and restaurants all around. I would absolutely stay here again. :)
B&B Rollando is set in Vernazza and features free WiFi. All units come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a bidet.
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. It's nice to have options!

We loved everything about Vernazza!
We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Cinque Terre!!!

We loved Vernazza.
We loved Vernazza. We enjoyed the views, the little harbor was beautiful.
The Tower views over looking the ocean and village was fantastic!
Our experiences in several restaurants were excellent. Plenty of shops for Souvenirs. Vernazza was also a great home base to visit the other villages of Cinque Terre. Our favorite Village.

City is beautiful with fine restaurants, but nearly impossible during the day when tour groups and day tourists overrun the town. Hiking was even difficult due to the number of persons on the trails. Trains between Cinque Terra towns were extremely crowded and unconfortable and station boarding platforms were shoulder to shoulder with passengers. We used the ferries instead of train if not in a hurry.
You arrive in Vernazza Station in the hubbub of day trippers, but as you walk the short 2mins up the hill to this apartment everything becomes quiet and residential. It an ideal location fir the lovely village. Our favourite now of the Cinque Terre. There are steps to reach the apartment, so not ideal for baby or anyone with hip/knee issues, and the bed is very low as it is sunk into floor. It could sleep 5 if it was 2 adults and 3 small children (4-10yrs)
We highly recommend both this village and this apartment.
The location was on a side street in the middle of town. There are steps to climb to reach the Airbnb. In Cinque Terre you will be climbing stone steps everywhere in every town.
Staying here you really got the feel of Cinque Terre-the towns and the people.
Be sure to take a passeggiata and enjoy the happenings.
Ristorante Luca was delicious and fabulous and right near the water. Check out the shops and food stores. Every morning we had a cappuccino and marmellata coronetta(horn).
An elegant Italian rip-off in an amazing and unique location on the coast. The stay was during off-season, so there were less tourists there. The hotel was also running one (the only?) restaurant downtown open that served cheap Italian food - spaghetti Bolognese (almost 20 Euro) and a tin of Coca-Cola for almost 5 Euro. Conveniently, the staff forgot to credit us for also staying in their hotel (-10%). I wonder how much profit they generate in high season!
We loved the view on the small beach and the main square in Vernazza ;-) very cozy, comfortable and well organized apartment. The host Christian exceed our expectations, welcomed as at the station despite late hour and huge delay of our train, ordering the pizzas for us before all restaurants close. Chriss was very considerate and easily accessible. Highly recommended for a beautiful stay in Cinque Terre ;-)
We didn’t want to leave. The views from the roof deck are fantastic; it is shared by two units, but there are two sections (town-side and sea-side) with furniture on both sides making it easier to share. Everything in the room was newer and in good condition. Federico was a great host, meeting us at the train station and providing a great orientation to Vernazza and the Cinque Terre.
Excellent location! Steps from the train station and perfect for hopping around Cinque Terre. The apt is right on the main street, so you feel like you’re a part of everything but it’s quiet once you step inside. The balcony overlooking the street allows you to have the best of both worlds. While it isn’t glamorous, everything you need is within the apt for an easy home base.
Cannot stress enough how perfect the location is. It is incredibly positioned in the middle of vernazza - a short walk to the train station, right infront of a little cave, and a couple minutes from the beachfront. Being near the train is important when dealing with the hilly towns in Cinque Terre. The unit was also very clean and organized.
The host and his family have a retail shop directly opposite the accommodation. We went straight to the shop and they helped us with our luggage up several stairs to the apartment. They explained the facilities in the apartment and also answered all our questions about hiking and touring at Cinque Terre.
An absolute gem, located on the main street in Vernazza with all the facilities you need or expect in such a historic resort. Balcony is the best place for relaxing and watching the world go by. only one flight of stairs up which in Cinque Terre is a bonus! literally everything on your door step.
A beautiful apartment, well equipped, in a truly perfect location. Federica was very easy to communicate with, and accessing the property was no problem. Be aware there are stairs, like everywhere in Vernazza (and across Cinque Terre), but these stairs are very few and easy to utilise.
The location in Vernazza being very central and easier in terms of the amount of stairs to climb which was less than others but still not negligible. If you have mobility issues then best to pass on Cinque Terre entirely.
Albergo Barbara is situated right on the waterfront in Vernazza. We loved being so central and being able to stay in Cinque Terre rather than in La Spezia so we could enjoy the town when the crowds left at the end of the day
The location of the property is just unbeatable. In comparison to other properties located in Vernazza, access to this hotel does not include climbing many stairs, which makes the lives of the guests way easier.
You get more than you pay in this very clean hotel in Vernazza. For me, the nicest town of Cinqueterre. The location is excellent, next to the train station. The room is confortable, with air conditionair.
The location of this hotel is PERFECT!! Vernazza is a small village but very cozy. The hotel is right in front of the water. We have our bathroom outside but it was for our own use only, so that was good!
The property was excellent and the view is amazing. Beautiful clean rooms and a supporting staff member. You need to stay here for 2 days to absorb the overall beauty of both Cinque Terre and Vernazza
The views are amazing and the rooms are light and airy. You are only steps away from the harbor. Gian is a fantastic host. He provided guidance on the very best hikes in Cinque Terre. Enjoy the wine.
Our accomodation were in the centre of Vernazza. Literally on the trail of cinque terre. The room was clean and well equipped. It was amazing to be there.
