The staff is extremely kind, they speak perfect italian and give you good advice. The hotel is located in a perfect position, it has an incredible view on the marvelous port and the charming buildings of La Valletta. I'am very satisfied, I couldn't ask for more, considering that I was travelling 8 months pregnant, in company of my doughter one year old. The breakfast is good too :) I also appreciate that I find a lot of windows an hair dryier, an iron and iron board in the room.

Very nice scenery and breathtaking views. but i recommend staying and booking in Sliema or St.Julians cities, if you want a more active nightlife and convenience accessing ferries and cruises in order to visit other places of Malta and surrounding islands.

Very nice city but overwhelming overcrowded and noisy.
Very nice city but overwhelming overcrowded and noisy. Generally the food is similar, not always good quality compared to many other places I’ve eaten elsewhere in the world. Seems to be geared for tourists and turnover rather than good cuisine. Views are spectacular, especially near the water.

Changed since our last visit - so much busier with traffic and volume of visitors. ate mainly at the Hotel food excellent. Did dine out in Valletta and the quality of the food was superb but too much by volume.
Mainly walked around Valletta as it was so easy.
I would ensure that restaurants were open before going to them. Brochure stated were open only to find they had not bothered.

Valletta was full of history, culture and great food!
Valletta was full of history, culture and great food! It was easy to walk the entire city and visit sights. There were amazing places to eat and drink throughout the city, with endless array of cuisines to choose from. By staying in Valletta it was easy to hop on a bus to any other part of the country! There are also ferry rides across the bays for a couple of euro's.

Valletta has so much to offer!
Valletta has so much to offer! history, beaches, amazing food, easy access to the rest of the island and archipelago.
Would highly recommend Rampila restaurant
We used the Ferry to Sliema, Bolt and Uber apps for taxis very cheap too. The busses are also very good.
The location was my favourite selling point for the hotel, nestled in a classic narrow Valletta street. The hotel front is beautifully understated, I really liked the aesthetic. It's near enough to the heart of Valletta that I felt kind of smug walking off of the main tourist street into my quiet side street.
The breakfast a la carte menu was nice, sampled a few things over the days we were there, all good. That is supplemented by a small buffet with pastries and cereal etc, very nice!
The apartment is at the heart of the city centre. It's really spacious, with a kitchen (where you can make some coffee/meals). The balcony we thought it had is a "closed balcony" typical of the maltese architecture, so no smoking on the balcony, but there is a terrace on the top floor with a couple of tables and a great view. We were able to store our luggage until our flight in the afternoon, the host was very polite and helpful, the communication with the host was really good as well.
Beautiful and quiet place in center of Valletta. Spotlessly maintained. All conveniences in room to make your stay super comfortable. Coffee and tea regularly refilled and complementary water provided every day. Excellent breakfast to suit all tastes. Considerate, courteous and helpful front desk staff. All one can hope for in a boutique hotel, without the noise and bustle of larger properties. Near to central spots for tour pickups and drop offs. One of our best hotel experiences.
Good place for people who want to live in city centre and don't wanna pay much for hotel, everything you need is close and you don't need to waste your time to get from one place to another. Living in such an old building has such atmosphere, I miss this place, it has its spirit.
We haven't used kitchen, but for sure it's a big advantage to have it
Towels, shower gel available
Great hosts (Dorothy and Charles) who made us feel so welcome. Our room (Marienne) was very big. More like staying in an apartment, Location perfect, right in the centre of Valletta. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Good and safe area. We loved the homely 'feel' to the hotel. Felt more like staying with friends than in a large chain hotel.
If you decide to stay inn this hotel....choose ONLY FULL SEA VIEW ROOM. Do not settle for anything less. Its SPECTACULAR.
The Location is the other thing that makes it a complete winner. Walking distance from Valletta City Centre, Bus Stands, Taxi Stands, Old City and all the landmark monuments.
Our room was big and spacious.
Fantastic location right in the centre of Valletta. Beautiful building and amazing views of the Grand Harbour from the rooftop terrace, complete with pool and plenty of sun beds. Breakfast menu really good along with a buffet selection if you need a top up. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely will return.
Excellent location, amazing view from the room and from the breakfast terrace on the rooftop, old historical building with modern facilities, even if the traditional atmosphere is well preserved. Very friendly and helpful receptionists. We really enjoyed Malta and Castille Hotel and we hope we will come back soon!
The hotel was in a great location, close enough to get to the centre of Valletta quickly but far enough away that you didn’t get all the noise! The pool is small, but good for a dip. We also had an amazing view from our room, with an adorable terrace, truly the best surprise!
Located near the Valletta city gates in the pedestrian zone. Very easy to walk in the city and catch buses. Not possible to drive to. One must walk about 200 meters (some uphill) to reach the hotel. It is located in the same building as Starbucks - which is nice.
Everyone there especially Tony , Lucia and Jacques were so friendly, helpful and nice. This hotel is beautiful, small , cozy and is located near everything. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in Malta
The apartment included kitchen and it was spacious. We were in the top floor so the elevator was handy. The location made it great to walk around the city of Valletta and discover the capital of Malta.
Location is perfect for exploring the old city centre of Valletta. Everything you would need during your stay is within walking distance. It was nice to have vouchers for the coffee shop downstairs.
The Hotel is exactly in the city centre but still quiet enough to get good quality sleep! The people were extremely friendly and sweet and we didn‘t have anything to complain about. Would recommend!
The staff was excellent! The roof top breakfast was divine! Our room was huge and had a great view of the tiny Malta streets! Loved all aspects of the hotel!
Charming building in a great location. Quiet, despite being very close to the shops and restaurants of the city centre. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
