Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Higher standards than most hotels, but in a hostel format.

The front desk clerk - Ismail was amazing! Very friendly and helpful, shared his pizza with me, explained how the train system works and gave me some good suggestions on what to do in the city. Moreover, I received a free pizza ticket for my first night. Nick, who messaged me before arrival to make sure everything was okay, also guided me how to reach the address from the airport, which I am very thankful for. Rooms are good size, clean and welcoming. The establishment has bikes for rent but is also very close to a train station.

Holiday Inn Express is situated next to Sloterdijk train station which offers convenient connections to Amsterdam Central Station and Schiphol Airport. Close to everything. Breakfast was excellent.

It was not so expensive than other hotels in Amsterdam Easy to get to the center and train station Persons on reception are very patient. My lock on the room didn't work at night (red light was shown every time when I tried to open the door with my card). But person from reception helped me a lot, he tried to use his card, anyway it didn't work so he opened my room with a physical key. And he proposed me to change my room even though it was my last night at the hotel.
