Hostel da Vila was an amazing experience! Me and my friend arrived at the hostel and were immediately met by the friendly staff who the showed us around the place. The hostel has everything you can ask for. It has a pool with a slack line across, a huge slide, a skate ramp, a pool table, a tattoo shop, a bar that makes the best food and drinks. I especially recommend the Vila Mule! The location is perfect. It’s a 2 minute walk down to the center where you can easily catch a bus to the rest of the island. At night we would play games and have fun at the hostel with the staff and residents until 11/12 ish where we would all go to the city center and dance samba in the street or listen to forró and mingle with everyone. We are definitely coming back.

Una de mis mejores estadías en Brasil. El lugar, la comodidad, la cabaña, la gente, los voluntarios, los otros huéspedes, el perro, las plantas, el bar, los tragos, la cerveza, las hamacas, la cocina, el café, la calor, la lluvia, el baño, el patio, las charlas, el arte, la ubicación (y puedo seguir) todo eso forma una magia inigualable en la isla. - Great location, and a really pretty one at that, with a nice river running through the grounds - Bathrooms were relatively clean and nice for a campsite, with attentive staff - Receptionist was really friendly and helpful - A nice common kitchen area with two ovens and two fridges

Los dueños son muy calidos y buena onda. Alexandra es una host excelente. Las instalaciones siempre estaban limpias, principalmente el baño! La carpa que nos tocó era fresca y amplia con un buen colchón para descansar bien

The staff was great, specially Osvaldo was supper attentive and always ready to help the guests :) The location is also amazing, super near the water and the nigh out zone! :)
