It is a family run business and they took great care of us. The wife of the owner cooked all our meals (she is a fabulous cook), and they even gave us a pack lunch to bring on our hike. They have been in the area for awhile and know all the best guides and trail recommendations. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel with great service and genuine people running it, this is the place.

This room offers a single bed with simple furnishings and a shared bathroom. Our stay at Ammarin Bedouin Camp was fabulous! The location is beautiful and private. We loved the experience of staying in a Bedouin camp. We sat in the main Bedouin tent decorated in the traditional rugs and pillows and enjoyed tea by the fire. Afterwards they served us a fabulous dinner. The night was full of stars and eerie noises of the desert. We loved it! Breakfast is also included. If you plan to come, you can arrange with the host to be picked up in a 4x4 truck by the entrance to Petra and be driven right to the camp for a small fee (we paid 10 JD for the ride). They can also take you back in the morning. I would highly recommend this place for those who desire the experience of staying in a Bedouin camp. Our hosts were so friendly and attentive. We are thrilled to have stayed here. Side note: If you come in the winter months, bring a jacket. The desert is surprisingly cold at that time. Enjoy!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce camp perché dans la montagne avec vue exceptionnelle sur la vallée de Dana. Très belle expérience avec des bédouins et gens locaux d’une extrême gentillesse. Si vous aimez l’aventure et l’authenticité, allez y sans hésiter ! Nous étions avec notre fille de 2 ans et le personnel était au petit soin avec elle. Plusieurs randonnées avec guide local sont proposées aussi.
