A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya features a shared lounge. Everything! Just perfect! Met and exteeded all of our expectations.

The tent features a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet. The tent offers a barbecue, a sofa, as well as a terrace and a patio. The full experience from beginning to end, from check in to check out! Nothing was too much trouble and Mr Rashid made us feel very welcome at his camp.

Said and Ahmad took great care of me. The camp gets its electricity from solar energy and therefore it is very quiet there. Moreover the camp is good situated. As I was traveling without car Said picked me up from the nearest village and organized a trip deeper into the desert to see the sunset. Ahmad is a very good driver who likes to drift over the dunes. It was an adventurous ride and I had a lot of fun. There is also the possibility of riding camels. Staying here was a highlight of my trip in Oman.

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. Unlike the other camps in the area, Nomadic desert camp is really surrounded by sand dunes. The camp is very authentic. The facilities are all clean and tidy.

Sultan Private Desert Camp is situated in Bidiyah. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Everything! First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

Set in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp features a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Great location, sand dunes all around you, camels walking around free, wonderful tents, amazing dinner and breakfast, and the best host I have ever met in my life, and I have been to many places. Faiz, simply the best. We love you.

Very well equipped and comfortable campsite, which is easily reachable with a 4x4. The staff was very helpful and nice, making the experience even better. The location is perfect for a bit of stargazing and for watching the sun set.

Guests will find a stovetop, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The tent also has a barbecue. Set in Al Wāşil in the Al Sharqiyah region, Hamood desert local camp has a balcony and mountain... The location is stunning, perfect spot to enjoy the sunset on the dunes and a starry night by the campfire. Hamood and Khalid are the perfect hosts, they make you feel at home and spoil you with good food. Highly recommended!

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. Our experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.
