The Mango is a great place to stay in Aswan. Nice and quiet. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable as. The staff are amazing drove us to the airport and back to collect a lost bag the day after we arrived. Would highly recommend staying here on the elephantine island

The location is good as it’s directly in front of the the ferry and overlooks Nile river. The place is new and well-furnished. The owner “Ahmed” is really supportive and helped to arrange my activities. The bathroom is small but it’s clean and well-equipped

Great location - 1 min from the ferry dock. The warmth of the hosts, everyone was always welcoming. My wife was unwell for a day, they always asked about her and cared for her. Nice breakfast (additional 150 EGP). Beautiful views. The room was cleaned everyday and bed linen was changed (which was wonderful). Great shower pressure.

Staff was amazing - room was very clean and the shower was hot. They provide free transport across on their private boat even at midnight. Gasser was very friendly. Breakfast was good and they provide a lot of food.

The location was excellent. The staff and the people managing were very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptionally good and is highly recommended. Everyone spoke English so no communication issues. The owner has their own boat so you can for a price can utilize it to go anywhere. Very peaceful and calming place. It is highly recommended. Everything was wonderful, I think I never had an experience this great. We were warmly welcomed, everything was very clean, very comfortable. The breakfast was always amazing and very flexible according to your own shedule. The host always helped us to fix a boat, or car to get to the sites we wanted to visit. She is an amazing woman, with an amazing place to stay at. We will definitely be coming back, and definitely be staying here again because other accomodations are not an optian. Truly this is one of the best experiences I had

Kafana and his staff takes care to guests' needs. Everything is handled with care and love. For any problem it is best to talk to them because they will help you to solve it. The room is very cozy, clean and the beds are comfortable. You sleep on the banks of the Nile, in complete tranquility far away from traffic noise. The breakfast is very good and energizes most of the day. The restaurant is excellent, we ate typical quality Nubian dishes. From the terrace you can enjoy the view of fantastic sunsets while enjoying very good drinks (fresh fruit juices and hibiscus karkadè recommended). Kafana organized several tours for us (Abu Simbel, Aswan, Nubian island) at a very good price compare with others and everything with precision and punctuality. Thanks to Kafana and his staff for the nice stay. We recommend the experience at Kafana Guest House and hope to return soon. PS: thanks for prepare us the breakfast at early time when we leave!

Mohammed is a wonderful host--he checked with us throughout our travels to make sure we were able to find the way and he also helped us set a good price for the taxi from the airport to the ferry. His guest house is beautifully made, with vibrant colors and a welcoming arrangement. We had everything we needed. Mohammed also welcomed us with tea on the roof and joined us to talk more about the area before suggesting where we could go for a late night snack and beer. We wish we had planned to stay longer.
