Located within walking distance from the train station on the main canal. The bed and bedding gave me the best sleep in 4 weeks of travelling. Very good shower. The owner is very pleasant. The tourist walking guide provided was perfect to see Gouda on foot. Private accommodation at the rear of the main house. The kitchen was very well equipped not that I used it. Coffee, tea and milk provided.

Near the beach, with several restaurants nearby. We were there in early spring, so it wasn't a beach vacation...but this accommodation in Katwijk aan Zee is a nice quiet base from which to visit several important sites such as Keukenhof Gardens, Kinderdijk, and Amsterdam. And it was nice to be able to walk to the beach even if it wasn't summer.

The house itself at first glance seems somewhat out of the way, but in fact the location is excellent for daytrips by car to any of the cities and attractions in the area. Keukenhof 10 minutes, Den Haag 40 minutes, Amsterdam 45 minutes, just ideal. The house is lovely, spacious, bright and airy. One bedroom plus toilet and shower on ground floor, 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs with a full bath. The kitchen is well-equipped. Paulette and her partner are wonderful hosts--friendly, kind, and communicative. Highly recommend this stay.

Apple Tree Cottage - discover this charming home at beautiful canal in our idyllic garden is a historic house renovated in 2018 and situated in a quiet private garden in the historic town centre of Gouda. It offers a terrace and spacious and green garden with seating facilities. The property is 600 m from De Goudse Schouwburg Jos & Maarlen were great host! The location is perfect, from Gouda you can move easily by train to Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, etc. The place is also great, very clean, very quiet and you can park pretty close from the house. We will definitely come back!

Very modern clean house with ALL the amenities you could want. The host, Nicole, was very accommodating and communicating was very easy - even weeks before we arrived from Canada. The ‘information book’ she provided about the place was one of the best I’ve ever seen! The little breakfast/lunch restaurant downstairs was very nice, great coffee, food and service.
