The pool is perfect to relax and you can walk in 1-2min to the fisherman village entrance. Bonus: The best coffee shop in Koh Samui is right across the street!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Very good value. Within a few minutes walk you can find restaurants and grocery stores. Jan was there to greet us before we even got out of our Grab and welcomed us and helped with getting our luggage to our room. We had read that she would make us dinner upon request so we had a delicious dinner in her little tree and plant lined courtyard. My husband had a Sea Bass curry which was the best fish he has had so far after 3 weeks in Thailand. Perfectly cooked. My curry was wonderful as well. Jan got some of the spice and produce from her garden while we were sitting and enjoying the birds around the area. One was hanging around one of the hanging baskets and I received some follow up messages and pictures that showed a nest and then a picture of a baby bird and another egg. These are the best memories that you make on a holiday! I cannot comment on location but it was about 15 minutes from the train station (300 bht) and then the Grab picked us up the next morning for our trip to Koh Lanta. (We were even able to watch a bit of Netflix on TV in the room.)

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in holiday resort Khao Sok! De host was superaardig, ze spreekt goed Engels en was zeer behulpzaam. De huisjes zijn comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien, en in tegenstelling tot andere hutjes in de omgeving hadden wij geen last van beestjes o.i.d., er zijn goede horren ;-). Het is een zéér mooi park, een mooie, kleinschalige, tropische omgeving. Je zit wat verder uit het Khao Sok dorpje, maar dat vonden wij niet erg, we deden toch alleen maar tours. Tip: bestel bij het ontbijt de bananen pannenkoek!

Nice room with everything that you need - fridge, kettle, desk, clothing rack, en suite bathroom and front porch. Twin beds were comfortable. Towels provided. Suitable wifi and helpful friendly host. The area is away from the busy main street, but still walking distance to all of the food spots.

Phi Dao even drove me to some places. thank you again. It is a quiet place on a wonderful island. Two rooms, each with own bathroom, built on a long leg construction, share a veranda with great views of the sea, mangroves and sunset. with loungers and seating, super chill. very comfortable mattress for my needs. Bathroom with shower and western toilet. I didn't use the fan because the bungalow and Veranda is made so that some wind comes through, which was perfect for me. The homestay is very lovingly built, with a large pavilion for relaxing. little spots in the shade everywhere, a hamoc, a beautiful flower tunnel, cute details. A bar is now being built and it already looks inviting. For breakfast there was coffee, toast and jam, fried eggs and very tasty fruit. All day long coffe and water. You can explore wonderful paths, swim in the beautiful ocean (a lovely path through the jungle, easy to walk, you might see monkeys, hornbills, any kind if birds, squirrels, and monitor lizards). You can climb viewpoints, there is also kayaking and SUP, I didn't try that because I'm still recovering and just wanted to relax. I was able to recover really well. It's so nice and quiet here. To eat you can walk to the nearby Phaluay seafood restaurant, which is also very recommended, with delicious food and very friendly service, everybody. Keep in mind that it is a pristine natural island, there is no luxury, no shop and no ATM (bring enough money, maybe you want to donate for the school or the cat lady :) Absolutely recommended for a special experience in nature, peace and simplicity. .
